Zion chose Duke because it has a lake and sits at the foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains - it's the prettiest campus in the ACC.

obviously the lake becomes less of a factor when you don't have much else to talk about.
Football is a lot less competitive across the board compared to basketball, and Clemson's scenery is a lot different than most of teams we recruit against in football. So if kid is attracted to the scenery, there aren't many other colleges that are similar.
Columbia on the other hand is pretty similar to LSU, Knoxville, Talhasseee, etc.

i rarely talk about SC. you guys want me to talk about it. SC isn't good enough in sports to talk about that much.
I know that I have mentioned on here in the past that I have disdain for the Tigernet type of Clemson fans that talk about SC 24-7 and refer to Gamecock fans as 'coots'. I don't put any extra emphasis on our games with SC.
Mocking SC in sports is silly in the same way mocking Clemson for basketball and never winning at UNC is silly. We can't control who we can recruit.
Got to go to war with who you get. I feel like Clemson basketball teams usually make other teams win it...it isn't an easy win for them, so even if the record isn't that great, the competitiveness during games makes it ok.
