If anything is learned last night by the committee I hope it’s that the SEC + Michigan and Ohio State are in a different class.

If they were to play next week I think Georgia, Bama, Mizzou, Ole Miss and LSU (with Daniels) would all be significantly favored over Washington.

The trenches (and front 7) are totally different worlds and their impact is seen over the length of a season.

Other schools can match an elite QB and skill players but it’s a different ballgame.

The SEC should be guaranteed 5 spots in the future playoffs.

I think you were spot on, all of these teams would probably be two touchdown favorites over Washington, after watching the difference between Washington’s quarterback having an average of 12 seconds in the pocket versus UTrans and only having four seconds, or less in the pocket versus Michigan

I'm honestly surprised that Texas couldn't score more against that average at best defense

I’m not sure LSU isn’t still favored with Nuss. Washington’s D is terrible. I think it may be worse than LSU’s

Washington played ONE (1) Top 40 defense all season....last night.
Most SEC teams played at least 5 or 6 this season.

What I was really surprised by is when ESPN put up the statistic that Texas had 7 of its victories this year against teams with defenses ranked between 100 and 130

And I think only 1 win came against a top 50 defense
