Which team is still living inside your head? There’s your answer.

Alabama? True. Guess we don’t need to talk about a sample size of 1 year (which is pathetic) and just go with the GOAT coach and GOAT Program.
I like where your mind is at. Good call.

Not only were they struggle wins. They were struggle wins against teams during the biggest downtime in SEC football. Auburn gave them a hell of a game with a freshman QB, Bama had half the defense and the QB on crutches for half of the season, Florida gave them a hell of a game with a backup QB, and Georgia was the most overrated team in the SEC (lost to SC in Athens). The only healthy team they played was Clemson, so hats off for beating them, but LSU was far from being the GOAT. Bring on the stupidass “melt” comments. Just stating facts.
This kind of crying on the rant is delicious.

WTF? It’s not becoming to be sloshed this early on a Sunday.
Leave it to Bama fan to make everything about Bama.

Easy they are the greatest of all times beat 7 top 10 teams at the time they played them and the last four teams they played ranked in the top five and beat them it's hands-down LSU is the greatest of all time 2019

I don't think they were the best team in the lat 18 months.
they benefited from a watered down sec and no real powerhouse teams across all FBS.
2001 Miami would have handled them easily.
they are more along the line of 2010 Auburn, truly great season by a QB with an experienced talent around him and an innovative offensive coach; who is now gone.

Four pages and no mention of the original Dream Team?

Every part of your post is wrong. Impressive

It's true. 95 Nebraska > all Alabama teams, including 2009 Alabama that would rank higher using LSU metrics.
Damn right I'd love to have an Alabama team that dominated like that.
It's fun living in reality and being honest about things.

More top25 wins, tougher schedule, more awards, more wins, etc.
What 2009 Alabama didn't do was dominate their opponents and that's why nobody ever considered them better than 95 Nebraska.
09 Alabama lowest MoV: 2, 5, 9, 10, 14
95 Nebraska lowest Mov: 14, 23, 24, 37, 38
95 Nebraska dominated.

From an earlier post I made:
Let’s compare 2001 Miami to 2019 LSU:
Miami played one top 10 ranked team the entire season and won by 3 points in the national championship game (34-31). Worst wins: A 2 point (26-24) win over then 14th ranked Va. Tech (final rank 18) and an 18-7 win over unranked BC (final rank 21). During the season, only played 4 ranked teams when played (15, 13, 11, 4). Based on final rankings, 1 top ten team, and 5 other top 25 teams ( Nos. 11,14, 18, 19 & 21).
2019 LSU
7 top ten teams when played. National championship margin of victory, 17 points against the then number one scoring defense in the country. Worst wins: 3 point victory over the then the number 9 team (final rank 13) and a 5 point win over the then number 2 ranked team (final rank 8). During the season, LSU beat 5 top final top 10 teams, including nos. 2, 4, 6, 7 & 8, plus the nos. 13 and 25.
Miami had a lot of talent, but LSU had the better season, and very arguably the better team based on the achievements of the season and the level of competition. It is really hard to justify ranking 2001 Miami ahead of 2019 LSU if one compares the records and performance. Having the best talent doesn’t always mean having the best team. What the team accomplished when they played as a team matters most, not what the players did on other teams in the NFL.

Yeah not even remotely valid and the dumbest of arguments as it removes any team from before like 2002 from the equation. Or in the case of 2019 LSU, any team before 2014.
