I have to admit that your persistence with this stat is pretty impressive.

I'm pretty nice with it actually. I could include the lowest 4 of 95 Nebraska and make it even uglier.

Worst part of the BCS computers? Not being allowed to use MoV to determine team strength.

It matters, and it's a large gap. Same reason 2009 Alabama is not in the conversation, too many struggle wins.

When you can score more points than anyone else and the point of the game is to outscore the other team, does it really matter?

It matters 0 when it comes to who wins the game.

It matters way more when you want to compare against other wins/teams.

I would be too if it was the one and only arguement I had to support my position against a mountain of evidence that proved me wrong.

Oh yeah, those arguments that basically make 2009 Alabama > 1995 Nebraska. Which goes to highlight how dumb they are.

For some reason, nobody else was dumb enough to try and make those arguments, until 2019 LSU fans.

And if margin of victory was the one and only metric teams like Boise St and UCF would have been able to play for a national title. Beating more ranked teams by 10 or less points is more impressive than beating a bunch of unranked teams by 20 points or more. This is why the SEC almost always gets the nod over ACC and PAC-12 teams.

It's funny that people like you act like it's only LSU fans making the argument.

I plan to keep up with him and Tua at the next level to see how well they do to get an accurate guage at how much the current trend in QBs is them and how much is the systems. Especially Burrow considering the extremes of his 2 seasons.

Don't kid yourself. It's the qb's. See Mahomes. See Watson. The Texans suck if he's injured. Imagine Justin Jefferson playing qb with the 2019 LSU team. Imagine McElroy for Bama instead of Tua. It's the qb's.

I realize that you're trolling and that you have fun debating this, but at least keep your reading comprehension above the level of a toilet seat. LSU beat more top 10 teams than Nebraska played top 25 teams. The schedule was considerably harder. Beating ranked teams is better than beating up on unranked teams.

I bet, not more than 50 people on this forum know we beat Finland for the gold medal and not Russia.

And if you hadn't had so many struggle wins you'd have a good argument.

I'm not trolling, I'd make the same arguments against 2009 Alabama and I have no trouble saying 2019 LSU's season was better than Alabama's.

But I'm not going to pretend it was more than that because it wasn't. SoS is a factor, it's not the only factor.

I've made no threads or articles on the topic, so how could I be writing clickbait?

You just don't like my response, so you cry trolling.

Ok, see Burrow without the RPO and those types of offenses.

From Below Average Joe to superstar. Probably similar for Tua, but he ran the offense both years as a starter.

We'll see.

I wouldn't say Joe was below average his first season. His 19 season can make it look below average. People still ignore he arrived at LSU a month before the season began his first year. Learning an offense on the go. Tua had a bigger advantage in this area. I ask, do you think McElroy and Jefferson could have as much success as Joe and Tua in the same offense ? No way. Neither has the natural talent of either Joe or Tua.

They were struggle wins against teams during the biggest downtime in SEC football. Auburn gave them a hell of a game with a freshman QB, Bama had half the defense and the QB on crutches for half of the season, Florida gave them a hell of a game with a backup QB, and Georgia was the most overrated team in the SEC (lost to SC in Athens). The only healthy team they played was Clemson, so hats off for beating them, but LSU was far from being the GOAT. Bring on the stupidass “melt” comments. Just stating facts.
LSU played only one healthy team all year is a fact huh? Your tears are delicious
