Just a quick list and feel free to add to it.

1980 USA hockey team
1970 Nebraska
1972 Miami Dolphins
2000-2001 Tiger Woods

They have to be the best of the best from what I’ve read on tRant.

85 Bears were pretty bad-arse

The Wooden Era UCLA Bruins were pretty much the GOATS IMO

Taking another loss to LSU pretty hard , huh ?
That’s what 3-7 in the last 10 does.
Here is your e-hug.

Tried to keep it to a single year and a team. Otherwise they wouldn’t be in the discussion.

2013 Gators were almost as good as the 2017 version. I wouldn’t put them too high on the list.

1970 Nebraska

Did you mean 1971 Nebraska or 1995 Nebraska(which was the better of the 2)?

1970 Nebraska had a tie game and finished #3, the 1971 went undefeated, beat Alabama in a bowl game and finished #1. 1995 Nebraska played a tougher schedule, beat their opponents by larger amounts of victories and is the GOAT for college football.

I don't see how you can compare the others, but if you meant 1970 Nebraska, then LSU is higher. Hockey Team was a national thing, 1972 Dolphins is the only ever undefeated in NFL history and is impossible to top and golf isn't a team sport.

LSU's 2019 natty team is the greatest college football team ever in history. As no other team comes close to accomplishing nearly as much as LSU did in that run to the Championship.

Yep, despite 3and10’s 24/7 posting about ‘95 Nebraska.

It does seem that 10 out of 10 LSU fans agree 2019 LSU was the greatest ever even with it's struggle wins.

Not only were they struggle wins. They were struggle wins against teams during the biggest downtime in SEC football. Auburn gave them a hell of a game with a freshman QB, Bama had half the defense and the QB on crutches for half of the season, Florida gave them a hell of a game with a backup QB, and Georgia was the most overrated team in the SEC (lost to SC in Athens). The only healthy team they played was Clemson, so hats off for beating them, but LSU was far from being the GOAT. Bring on the stupidass “melt” comments. Just stating facts.
