South Carolina has much more potential.
>People in the Carolina's know and follow hoops
>Colonial Life Arena, recently built, gorgeous
>We are not delusional
>We give a coach time
>better recruiting base

The only thing bama has on us is a few more wins in conference and that literally means shite.

You will see with Frank Martin, just wait.

Kentucky, Arkansas, Missouri, and LSU all have more NCAA tournament appearances. Florida and Tennessee have maybe 1 or 2 fewer appearances. Florida will likely pass them in the next few years

Tennessee has more than Bama.

30 Arkansas
25 Mizzou
21 LSU
20 Tennessee
19 Alabama
17 Florida
13 Vandy
12 Texas A&M
10 UGA
10 MSU

He thinks regular season wins are more important than actual titles. How ironic is that coming from a Bama fan?

Dude...

Alabama is #2 in SEC Tournament titles (6) and tied for third in regular season titles (8). He's not just talking about wins.

Also, he flat out said "historically" and admitted we've been mid-tier in recent events. Are you slow?

In North Carolina…not in South. I would think basketball is 4th in line behind football, baseball, and WBB.

Interesting, you were convinced that y'all were beating UK…and even had the nerve to say Frank Martin is a better coach then Cal…yes, you are delusional.

We give a coach time

Hmmm, the last 4 caches can say that?

better recruiting base

da fuq? Hate to break it to ya…basketball recruiting is nationally, it is not like football.

OK, keep saying that.

SEC Final Four Appearances:

Kentucky - 16
Arkansas - 6
Florida - 5
LSU - 4
Georgia - 1
Miss State - 1
Everyone else - 0

If I were to rank the top coaching jobs in SEC, it would be

Tier 1:
Kentucky

Tier 2:
Arkansas/Florida/LSU/Mizzou

Tier 3:
Georgia/Tennessee/Vanderbilt

Tier 4:
Alabama/A&M (cold easily move up if money was thrown at the bball programs)

Tier 5:
Auburn/MSU/Ole Miss/USCe

If we land Marshall and give him the deal that's on the table, ask this question in 5 years. I think the answer will be remarkably different.

Historically, I'd put us at 5th behind UK, UF, Arkie, LSU and Missou. LSU better thank their lucky stars for Dale Brown or they wouldn't be in that group. Presently, I'd put us ahead of Auburn, USC, and MSU. We're a train wreck right now but ready to turn it around.

This is about right, although I'd give Ole Miss a bump to Tier 4 based on recent (5 years) success). Kentucky is obviously a league of their own. Arkansas, Florida, and LSU all have FF/NC to their name, but Missouri also goes here by having 3rd most NCAA appearances behind UK and Arky. Georgia, Tenn, and Vandy are a solid Tier 3, just not having sustained success.
