Dude is trolling. Big Blue Madness had 22k last weekend. This is an NIL scrimmage and cheapest ticket was $125.

re: UK fans: TV question

Locally, the ABC affiliate is out of Carbondale, IL, the CBS affiliate is out of Cape Girardeau, MO and the NBC affiliate is out of Paducah. UK doesn’t get on CBS very often but when they do, I’ve never had any issues.

With that being said, I googled the game and it says the coverage was SEC Network. My guess is that it was just a 2016/hotel thing and that nowadays that wouldn’t be an issue.
4 months.

We've been married for 4 years, been together for 7 and I'm 26 years old.

Did you even read the post or just skim through looking for something to get pissy about? Jesus.
I agree with a lot of what you're saying but even in our worst years, the fanatic in me just can't predict a loss to little bro.

that's not exactly a tough place to play.

I think the last few years of Rich Brooks' tenure proved that the Kentucky fan base will show up in full force when there is a solid product on the field. When you consider how awful UK football has been as of late, it's actually pretty remarkable the amount of fans that have shown up every week.

But even if (by some miracle) UK manages to build a solid football team over the next few years, does that mean that Commonwealth will be really loud and intimidating for opponents to play in? Who knows. I honestly just want a season that goes well enough to find out.
In short, the answer is probably not. As a lifelong UK football fan, I've learned that it's a lot easier to deal with getting kicked in the nuts over and over again if you just expect it to happen and accept it before the season starts.

But the 5% of optimism I still have towards UK football is working hard to convince me that this is the year we turn the corner, beat the teams we're supposed to and pull off a few upsets. Like I said, I don't expect it to happen but a man can dream right?

I wouldn't mind it. It'd suck to lose to them because no matter what we'd hear about it forever

I wouldn't mind it either as I think UK would win that matchup 99 out of 100 times. The only reason I don't want to play UofL in the championship is because I don't want them to get the satisfaction of making it that far.

With that being said...GO SPARTANS!
I appreciate the fact that Bama is at least trying to go out and make a home run hire but unfortunately for Bama (and in turn, the quality of the SEC), Marshall is well aware that he can land a much better job if he's patient enough to wait for it.

He lost one game last year and is currently in the sweet 16 with a team that will return nearly all of it's players next year. No offense to the fine folks of Alabama but no matter how much $$$ you throw at the guy, it really isn't worth it for him to make the move to Tuscaloosa.

Well done sir.

Grouping South Carolina in with North Carolina as people who " know and follow hoops"...all I can say is
