Where do visiting bands sit at your stadium and why is Texas so petty about it?

I’m tired of seeing UT shove the visiting bands in the upper deck then acting like it’s normal.
At LSU, visiting bands are lower bowl in south end zone. 15 years ago when I was in Tiger Band, I went to Little Rock, Tennessee, Florida, Bama, Auburn, Ole Miss, Miss State. I believe Auburn was the only stadium where our section didn’t begin in row 1, but we weren’t in the upper deck. I’ve gone to many games at Kyle Field and the band is in the lower level. Is that unchanged?
Horn fans have said this is the norm and act like sitting in the second deck at TCU is the equivalent.

It’s been argued that visiting bands in Williams Brice get the “loudest” section, stadium structure wise.
Lower bowl, south end zone but the corner
Lower bowl, south end zone but the corner

Never even thought about it. But don’t think UGA puts the band in the 600 level. ??

Yet you still shaft poor old UTSA and stuck them in the nosebleeds. It doesn’t matter if you’re Troy or Alabama going to Tiger Stadium, you’ll be in the lower bowl.

Yeah I know.. those poor dudes.. man, it just breaks me heart and keeps me up at night just thinking about how horrible that must have been for them..
Just so traumatizing..

They don't, they are in the corner of the edzone nearest the bridge, same side as UGA band.

Texas being petty is why the Million Dollar Band didn't make the trip to their stadium.
Alabama repaid the favor a year later and sent their band to the corner of an upper deck of Bryant-Denny even though Alabama always gives opposing schools' band a prime location in the lower bowl.
SEC rules specifically prevents Texas from being able to do this anymore. But because Alabama and Texas played each other as non-conference, it allowed Texas to be unprofessional and petty and for Alabama to be petty back.

Why shouldn’t they put the opposing band in the worst possible location? HOME field advantage right?

I remember, back in the day, when the bands would play during time-outs and more at half time. Today we get the thrill of having ghetto rap and Business Ads (I know we need the NIL $) blasted on high decibel stadium speakers . I’ve had to learn sign language in order to communicate to the person sitting next to me. It’s all about the money.

I miss the bands being the only music in the stadium.

Lol Roddy Jones said UTSA’s band could probably see San Antonio from there.

You let a school in that destroyed at least three conferences and you’re shocked they’re douchebags?
