Croom is the only coach in Ms. State history to beat Auburn and Alabama in the Same Year....also knocked off #1 Florida & Coach O when was a Rebel

I mean every coach mentioned ITT has had success at the college level, even if they obviously tanked towards the end as they coasted into retirement

Even the goat college coach sucked in the NFL. Picked Culpepper over Brees
Posted on 2/11/20 at 3:09 pm to 1BIGTigerFan
that is possible.
It boggles my mind that Brady was starting out his coaching career 7 years ago and now he is an NFL OC. I shake my head every time I think about it.

There’s a reason he gets his arse kicked whenever the talent level is even between both teams*
*excluding Kirby ofc

What about the next two years?

saban isn't a great x's and o's coach. His strength is seeing talent. I heard HOF Jimmy Johnson say the exact same thing about himself.

I don't think this is true. I'm not checking everyone listed, but Charlie Weiss sucked as a college head coach

Define success.
I think the OP should have just named this thread "Name all the former NFL coaches that bombed in College Football".

95%?
I’m not entirely sure about your stats (would like to see data points); but I’m sure some are better.

That guy went to 3 rose bowls and decided to let Arkansas pay for an early retirement

True.
Though I believe the Badgers lost all three of those Rose Bowl appearances.
I’m not suggesting coaches can’t be good in the college game after bouncing from the NFL (or vice versa); but it’s far from being a guarantee.

I’m just glad we didn’t make the worst head coach in SEC history our offensive coordinator.
Now that would be bad!
Tell ME about it!
