When will the Big Ten dick sucking end?

If you're old enough to remember, this the exact same way it used to be in football as well. They whine about SEC bias, but my entire childhood I had to endure the media fellating the Big Ten.

This seems to happen every year or close to it. And every year the medias like, “The Big Ten really is stacked this year! [X school] may get an at-large bid with a 17-15 (8-12) record!”

Pretty much all of this folks. Most of us aren't old enough to remember when the Big 10 always got the nod over Southern teams. Bear Bryant could probably have laid claim to another national title or two but for Midwest bias back in the day and that was at Alabama for Pete's sake.

The media is desperate for a great run by a Los Angeles team or a big Midwest team. Unfortunately for them, once Southern schools integrated and African American athletes stayed in the South the writing was on the wall for the decline of the Big 10.
