When will the Aggies consider Jimbo a good investment?

First, I'll lead off with saying that I like the idea of him returning to LSU... the first time they danced with the idea. But the second time... they danced, yeah, not so much. He's had his moments but I think he used LSU twice to skyrocket his value and now, I'm glad he is where he is.
So now, Aggies... when will y'all consider this hire to be a good investment? That school has paid out a lot of money and they haven't even sniffed being an SECW Runner Up.

Aggie goals are about the same as Ole Miss goals. Those are the only SECW teams that haven’t been to an SEC Championship game.

For the billionth time, Jimbo is not going anywhere. He could win 8 games for the next 8 seasons and we are hitched long term.

Agree, but this wasn't what was asked.

I will bet he does this but even better averages 9 wins a season. That's a 75% regular season winning %. Given that 2 of those wins will be rent a wins every season it still means, most likely, 3 conference losses every season. There are many coaches who could win 8-9 games a year at TAM for a lot less money but when you have new money it is typical to spend it lavishly....Its a good thing TAM fans are happy with 3-4 losses a year because that is their future....

The ROI on recruiting was pretty quick. We haven't recruited this well and consistently since the R.C. Slocum days. Sumlin notched some amazing classes but that obviously went to crap. We landed the 3rd and 6th ranked class the last two years so hopefully that translates into a more competitive product.
If not, I will say we have fools gold with Coach Jimbo.

Nobody cares. Why would anyone lie about that? It's worthless.
