Is this a joke?

Because in general during bowl season and in OOC the SEC dominates.

Did you see what happened to Miami, Louisville, Tech, Washington? What about Clemson & OU in the playoffs?

Yall lost to UCLA
LSU lost to Troy

The ACC has a winning record against the SEC three times in the last 15 years.

Fear not, the ACC will get it's annual matchups against the East and make the whole SEC look bad again.

I feel like if you pulled the numbers for the last 5 years it would make this statement look dumb, but I’m lazy.

How does this work?

Win CFB NC's CFB MNC's

SEC schools with MNC's while in the SEC, SoCon, or SIAA
17 Alabama
6 Tennessee
3 Georgia Tech
3 Florida
3 Louisiana State
3 Mississippi
2 Auburn
2 Georgia
1 Kentucky

9 schools representing 40 championships

ACC schools with MNC's while in the ACC
3 Florida State
2 Clemson
1 Georgia Tech
1 Maryland

4 schools representing 7 championships

Schools with MNC's before entering the ACC
11 Notre Dame
9 Pittsburgh
5 Miami
3 Georgia Tech
1 Boston College
1 Syracuse
6 schools representing 30 championships

I know math is hard and all but
40 > 7 || SEC > ACC
9 > 4 || SEC > ACC

6 > 4 || pre ACC success > ACC success
30 > 7 || pre ACC success > ACC success

Not only is the SEC greater in hardware, they are greater in the number of schools to win said hardware. Indicating greater conference depth in addition to greater overall success.

More interesting is schools that were capable of winning MNC's saw diminished or non existent CFB success after joining the ACC (Miami be the most glaring example) so the ACC degraded their former success.

It's not because we beat each other.

Can u not eyeball a team and tell they suck. I could watch Oklahoma or Georgia last year no matter who they played and tell they were very good. I watched Clemson last year and knew they weren't worth a damn. I watched a Louisville team Saturday that would win 2 games in the sec. If that.

It's about talent and the acc is bad. I didn't see any acc players this weekend that I thought could start in the sec. I didn't see many that would even get playing time in the sec and they are all conference acc players

It's about the level of competition, to examine this let's go with a game familiar to us both

Let's take our last game against Georgia Tech

To do this we have to go all the way back to 2008 when an unranked LSU (coming off a 7-5 season) was set to face off against the best Georgia Tech team in recent memory (ACC Coastal Division Co-Championship and ranked number 14).

LSU finished in the middle of the SEC West (ranked above Arkansas, Auburn, and Moo State); to put in perspective Vandy had more conference wins than we did that year.

But as everyone who paid any attention to football predicted we completely obliterated your fancy "wishbone option" bullshite offense because that shite don't work against us.

This wasn't a close game that GT should have won but shot itself in the foot. It wasn't even a good game; it looked like drunk amateurs playing against seasoned professionals. Yall made Jordan Jefferson look great!
Yall made LSU look like an NFL Caliber Team (Thank you!!!) and by comparison yall looked like a true ramblin wreck; as though someone went in the parking lot and started dressing drunk GT fans to play.

TL;DR: Georgia Tech was a co-Divisional champion in the ACC and LSU got less conference wins than Vandy but we still beat yalls arse because the middle of the SEC = better than the co-Divisonal Champions of the ACC.

When the SEC skull fricks the competition top to bottom and ends up having 2 teams in the NC game, yeah, that’s how it works. Your conference is shite.

In 2012? Clemson was absolutely loaded on offense.

LSU’s defense dominated that offense for much of the game. The problem was that LSU’s offense was completely enemic. The defense was left on the field for way too long. Eventually they broke and gave up points. It’s not like as if Clemson went in there and lit LSU up. We just sucked on offense.

Go on over to the ACC board over there ——>

Last 5 years:

USC v. Clemson:1-4
UK v. Louisville: 1-4
UF v. FSU: 0-5
UGA v. GT: 3-2.

Combined 5-15.

Thank God Vanderbilt or Tennessee doesn't have one of these rivalry games or this record would be even worse.
