It's a tough guess if the SEC wants more to expand or to prevent the Big 10 from encroaching. If expand is first priority, then North Carolina and Virginia are next. If the Big 10 worry is larger, then Clemson and Florida State are next. Might grab all four at once.

If Miami is good they draw a crowd. Unlike all the towns in the SEC Miami isn’t a college town. There is more to do in that city than any state in the SEC

20 years = 2004. They have 3 combined titles in the three sports listed to 4 for Vandy and South Carolina in the same timeframe.

Notre Dame and North Carolina are the best two left.. once those two decide, the rest falls into place..
I don’t think Notre Dame would ever pick the SEC over the B1G.. but would anyone here want them if they did?

WVU is really in no mans land, not East Coast, not NE, not Midwest and not Southern. They fricked up when they seceded from Virginia and may never get out of the hole.
I live in Morgantown but aside from a few folks from the Southern part of the state, as BMWS said, it’s like a Pittsburgh suburb.

Interesting to speculate, but we all know what will decide this...$$$$$.
I'd favor: UNC, Colorado (nice place to visit), Notre Dame (just to piss off the Big "Ten"; and they are in "South" Bend
), and Stanford (again to poke the Big "Ten" by getting a prominent California school). Yeah, I know it's crazy, but as I noted, $$$$$ will decide.

If you're a Tiger fan you should be against the University of HOUSTON being in the SEC as much as a Longhorn fan. A recruiting nightmare that would be.

Hey dumb dumb, point to where I said in the last 20 years, I said since the bcs Clemson and fsu have combined for 4 football nattys, which is more valuable than usce and vandys entire sports existence. Are you bad at reading dumb dumb?

I’ll even go one further, miami’s lone bcs title is worth more than vandy and usce sports existence.
