Thank you for your continued interest in everything LSU.

Honestly expected something way worse, but OP had to get his LSU thread in so it’s understandable.

It’s funny. One of my friends was an athlete at A&M and even he talks about how weird the “traditions” are. Also always send me snapchats with him blaring “neck” and singing the words haha

I don't have a problem with the fact they did it. I hate when people have to post shite like this on the internet. Nobody cares. I hate the fricking "look at me" mentality of today.

They were trolling us(Bammers/Gumps) with a light heart hearted funny troll. Which made me laugh. That is all it is.

Well, 15 might be a bit of an Exaggeration, but I know one family that gave birth in Alabama and wouldn’t let their kid’s feet touch the ground until they got back to LA. And I know 2 others that did exactly this, except the dirt was just from LA instead of LSU.
Jesus Christ- why are all you LA folks coming to Bama to have your anchor babies?
Eta: I fled the south years ago, but sounds like it must have gotten REALLY bad in LA.

My father took a job in Hackensack, NJ a year before I was born, resulting in my family moving from BR to Tenafly. When my mother (RIP) went into labor, she had dad put a potted plant in the car and under the hospital bed so that I would be born "on Louisiana soil"
This is a common Southern tradition.
