Why would his seat even get warm? All the guy ever does is win at about an 80% clip. Some people have way unrealistic expectations.

UGA is lucky that someone in the admin pulled the plug on Mark and signed Kirby. That was kind of a non UGA move to make such a move. The Admin didn't exactly give Mark all the benefits they needed as far as facilities and hell even Pruitt tried to get them moving faster.
Mark had 10 win seasons and so will Kirby but I believe Kirby will eventually find that QB that will get it done and win the NC.

Yep, it takes time to build a NC level program. Georgia has been just a few key players away from consistently competing for a NC and yea, QB, has definitely been one of the positions.

His seat will be on a hoverround since Uga can’t get anyone better.
He’s a great coach and a better recruiter. He’s got the right thing going on and will be around.

If he does not win the East in 2021 or 2022, there will be calls for change.
He can probably fire a coordinator or two and get to 2025 season, but I think he has to win big by 2025 or he’s gone.
It is what it is now. All SEC coaches are making millions of dollars and must win something of significance periodically or they will get the boot.
Even Texas A&M will fire Jimbo IF he does not win the west by 2025. I don’t think they are paying him championship money for non-championship results.
In fact, I hope teams are not just printing money for an occasional 9 win season and second place division finishes.
