LSU has a nice arena but all 4 times I been there it's been lucky to be half full.

That's because LSU hasn't been good in four years and Mississippi State blows.

The PMAC is back son.

Coleman, like any other arena at a football school, goes with the quality of the team.

meaning, I've heard it deafening a few seasons ago vs Georgetown and VCU... but I think UT was a breaking point for a lot. Towards the end you can hear "We Want Bruce" being chanted. Attendance will take a nosedive.

State has sucked for only 2 seasons. Save for this year, it's been awhile since Lsu had a good bball team.

Coleman is FAR from the worst atmosphere in the SEC. However, it does suffer from the same poor design the Bryant Denny does (Gently sloping stands. The top row is pretty far away from the court).

I think your definition of "sucked" is different than mine... Ray's group is about to miss the big dance for the fifth straight season... That's a half decade of suckage right there.

and our 2009/2010 teams were about as successful as your abortion of a program has ever been.

Tad Pad isn't that bad when it's sold out. Gets pretty damn loud.

Before they reseated the Hump, it was probably top 3 hardest places to play in the SEC.

Florida's national championship teams said it was THE hardest place to play.

Now... Not so much.

Probably Reed. The fanbase has given up on Kennedy. They pretty much gave up on him last year.

I enjoyed Coleman Coliseum the time I visited. It is definitely shaped differently, and the crimson and white stripes on the roof add a strange look, but, overall, I'd say it's not a bad arena or atmosphere.

Outside of UK, hardly any SEC school is going to have a rocking basketball atmosphere if their BB program isn't steamrolling towards at least a Sweet 16 berth.

Football schools gonna football school.

We've been better than OM in basketball probably 12 out of the last 15 years.
