Were you in a coma when the mid-tier Gamecocks unveiled the majesty of Aggie football? I think you were. A&M is not even near a serious contender for anything. Who couldn't see that?

Texas is 1-1 against SEC teams with a winning record.
A&M is 3-1.
Yep, Texas is a contender, all right. They have a 1000% of beating A&M at Kyle Field this year. The fans might as well sell their tickets to Longhorn fans.

I think it's LSU beating UGA in the chaos scenario. It would likely significantly reduce Ole Miss, Bama, and UT's chances of making the playoffs because A. LSU then gets an auto-bid and B. We don't know how the committee will punish teams for losing conference championship games. If they don't punish them, then UGA probably still gets a spot.

90,000 > 100,000 Aggie fans
+ 15-20k Texas fans can create some momentum or make some noise and maybe draw a false start here or there.. Texas has a winning record at Kyle, and has won 5 of the last 6. Now those games are 10+ years old now, so tbd how it goes, but there will be a lot of Texas fans.
