I stand by everything I said in that post. All of it is true.
Based on the upvote-downvote count, what I said was not unreasonable.
Want to take another try?

Tennessee v. Auburn.
Unless the teams fly together in one airplane.

Lets dive into this, shall we?

A&M is a very good team.
That turned out to be false. We watched your best wins get absolutely demolished by Alabama the past 2 weeks (Mizzou and LSU). In fact, that LSU team was dominating A&M until they switched to a QB read offense that they didn't prepare for.

We have the best offense they'll have faced all year
As far as total offense goes, A&M is ranked 65th. UGA is ranked 50th. Arkansas is ranked 5th.

So, we get blown out in the second half against a South Carolina team that arguably should be 9-1 at this point in time. That was on the road.
That makes us not a "very good team."
Gotcha.
So, I wonder what you think of Texas. They played two teams with a winning record. One was a 3-point victory on the road. The other was a manhandling at home.

Seriously, don't set yourself up to be psychologically wounded, Texas WILL be in the SECCG.
And I, personally, do not intend to boast about it. I will boast moderately if we win since this is our inaugural year.
But I wouldn't get yourself all worked up about this. A&M has like, well let me think... ZERO chance to beat Texas.
It's a bad scenario for most around here because it's our first year. It's a bad scenario for you for Aggie reasons.
But Texas will be in the game. Relax and pull for the opponent if you must. But don't torture yourself over this.

The worst case scenario for Georgia is Texas losing to A&M in the SECCG.

quote:No. Its A&M's season. 4 point victory against Arkansas. 10 point win against State. 6 point win against Bowling Green... Then, yes a 24 point loss against a then unranked SC team.
So, we get blown out in the second half against a South Carolina team that arguably should be 9-1 at this point in time. That was on the road.

Offensive struggles, lack of communication up front and silly penalties over a 2 game stretch. That is much different than an entire season of mediocrity.

Our blowout wins over Missouri and LSU are far better than your best win (over Vanderbilt).
Noticed you didn't mention that.

They look worse now than they did a few weeks ago. The difference is, Texas beats bad teams how a good team should. A&M doesn't.
