I really hope this feeling that playing in the SECCG is a punishment does not happen most years. It sorta reminds me of those badminton teams from the olympics losing on purpose to get an easier route to the gold. Just seems off.

This is the SECCG I want.
This means there are less bottlenecks for SEC teams to get in and Bama and possibly Ole Miss are in the playoffs as well.
