Can we include pro sports too? We lost to the Rams in the NFC title game 11-6 (that's right, we held the Greatest Show on Turf to 11 points and still LOST). I thought that was the closest we'd ever get to a SB.

This was the winning td.

This was the refs blowing what should've been a completion.

I admit, from the time I was a kid until Jim Kelly retired, I was a huge Bills fans.

This kick made me want to cry

Ricky Proehl!

Great game.

And yes, that catch might just be a catch in today's NFL.

UVA vs Syracuse. 2016 Elite 8. I won't totally be over it until UVA makes a Final 4. Shouldn't be too long with Bennett at the helm.

Saints vs 49ers. 2011 Divisional Playoff. I hate you, Vernon Davis.

LSU vs Auburn, 2006. I still think LSU was the best team in the country that year and would have beaten UF in a SECCG rematch. Auburn was very good, but not quite elite that year, and LSU had no business losing.

Football: Alabama 2014 and Tennessee 1998. We are in the playoff if we beat Bama. We led UT in the championship game midway through the 4th. That game was gut wrenching.

Basketball: Syracuse 1996 and Xavier 2004. We were so much better than Syracuse it wasn't funny. Not saying we would have beaten Kentucky for the title, but we had split with them that season. Xavier hit everything they threw up in that game. We were a Final Four team at least.

Baseball: Miami 1985 and UCLA 2013. Both cost us national championships. We had our top two pitchers available if we could have gotten to a game 3. UCLA had nothing left.

1973 Sugar Bowl against Notre Dame...a missed extra point by a kicker who'd made 100+ straight...

1962 7-6 loss to Ga. Tech which broke a 26 game unbeaten streak. Alabama had the ball inside Tech's 10 with about a minute to go and for some wild reason Coach Bryant called for a pass....that was intercepted in the end zone...game over..streak broken.

I was there. We had them penned inside their 5 yd. line with 3rd and a mile and about a minute to go. Their QB dropped back and hit their tight end on a sideline route for a first down....game over.

Made me flip a couch because they won the East. The SEC title game would've been 5 loss Arkansas vs 5 loss Florida.

Last play 2012 SECCG. I am still pissed that moron Richt failed to spike the ball before that disaster.

Auburn would have actually gone from the West, assuming we still beat Alabama the next week.

Losing to such a shitty UGA team last Fall was a soul crusher for me. It was an absolute lay-up, and Gus fricking blew it. I was on the Gus Bus longer than most but that did it for me. I was done with him after that game.

The much more deliberate nature of '10 was probably worse than the sudden shock of Kick Six.

The '10 loss wasn't that surprising to me. I told the guy sitting next to me as much at halftime.

The Kick Six hurt, but I honestly didn't think we'd win it in OT.

2006 against Mississippi State was the worst ever. 92k fans walked away from the stadium in silence. At the time, it seemed like the light at the end of the tunnel had finally gone out. There was just no hope anymore.

Different sport, but the 1995 NCAA national championship game. Should have been back to back crowns, instead the beginning of the end of the best collage basketball program of the 90s!
