You're 100% right. Bama's aura died after Kick Six and the Oklahoma debacle. There really isn't a feared team in CFB right now. We're truly in a transition era right now until the next great team steps up.

Bama is still the only team of that caliber. Deep down, everyone in this conference is thinking "won't shock me if they beat UGA, casually and lazily blow through the rest of their schedule and win the conference in unimpressive fashion on the way to the playoff."

Limited to this year, I don't think any decent team should be particularly scared of any other team in the conference. Nobody appears to be a dominating team right now.

Utah

After the complete arse-whipping they put on Oregon, I'd want no part of Utah right now.

it's still Ohio State and everyone else

OSU did things to Bama's 'NFL front 7' that no one has done to any Bama front since Saban got there. Just because OSU isn't clicking in September doesn't mean they forgot how to win.

That isn't a knock on anyone else. When my FSU friend and I speak about this he asks if I'm nervous about TCU or Baylor and I tell him hell no. I tell him I'm nervous about teams with elite talent that can get hot like OSU 2014. LSU/UGA/UCLA/Bama/FSU etc all fit that mold and they would all make me nervous

But the team that no one wants to play as of today is still Ohio State

I wouldn't want to play LSU tomorrow with how soft our interior run defense looks right now. I do think we'd move the ball on their defense though.

For LSU, matchup wise, bama for sure. We are thin at DL and a physical team like them is not the best for LSU.

Been hearing that for a while. By "pull it all together" do you mean "crack the top 100 in passing offense so we aren't so one dimensional that teams with a pulse can't just stack the box against us", or do you mean "figure out a way to play 4 qtrs of football on D so that teams with an actual pulse don't take advantage of that and LSU gets beat"?

I mean, I know 2015 is part of that "every 4th year" thing you guys believe in so much, but you didn't win the title in 2011, so isn't that kind of debunked by now? Carry on. LF7 for Heisman.

forrest, all you had to do is say "LSU"

Honestly, I am not scarred to play anybody. I think that's why OSU loses this year because instead of playing like they have nothing to lose they will play with something to protect.

At the moment, Utah is the dream killer team.

Utah isn't winning the national title. They don't have elite talent. Tell me the last national championship winner who won a title without being a top 15 recruiting team

I agree with them not winning the national title. But they are certainly on a path to knock a lot of others out.

I mean just in the Pac 12. If you give Miles or Meyer a month to prepare for Utah they would kiss the ground you walk on
