Problem with this logic is that blue chip prospects aren't always blue chip players.

No, but if you have significantly more blue chip prospects the same coach will turn them into more blue chip players. Not every one hits, but you'll have more hits with 50 prospects than you will with 30.

UF's issue is the coach, not the players. They have talent and continue to get talent even when they suck. That's why it's a prime job despite sucking arse right now.

I'll agree that Florida is a better job than Mizzou, but at the current moment, Arky is not a better job. Mizzou has gone ALL IN for football, and I think that is apparent now and more so in the future.

Florida

Our Administration is retarded.

I'm sorry but this is just a flat out unknowledgeable post. UF's administration is a dumpster fire that is a huge part of why they're in the mess they are. Our administration just went out and poached a HOF basketball coach from a rival and then rounded up millions in NIL to go from approximately zero players to a loaded team that's ranked in the preseason.

Our administration has managed to put together some of the best facilities - for all sports - in the nation. Our football facilities are top notch.

Arkansas has the better facilities, better NIL, better administration, and better fans as far as expectations. Fayetteville is a better place to live and much cheaper COL.

UF has the better recruiting grounds and history, much more potential there to unleash.

They aren't very talented. They did lose to Arkansas at home last year.

Florida, 100%.

Best state to be in, better recruiting, more history.

Setting aside the Walmart money, Florida is superior in every way possible.

Yeah if it was Arron Hernandez number you wouldn’t care . Everyone loved Tebow and was just trying to get in his head . Obviously it didn’t work . I’ve experienced Gainesville a couple times and collectively the fans and the location sucks . Ben hill griffin is a nice stadium though

Florida has access to far more talent than Arkansas does. However, a coach can get fired for ten wins at Florida, while at Arkansas you get a raise.

As for NIL, Arkansas has deep pockets, but it depends on if you’re a coach the boosters want or not. All the boosters want “their” guy and if it’s not, they withhold NIL funding.

He currently has a top five total offense in the nation, he must not be that bad.

And how many times has he proven that he’s not a good HC? Has anywhere he’s been ended well for the school?

They have curly from the three stooges as their coach.

If Steve Spurrier took over UF int he off-season they'd be 2-1 or possibly 3-0 right now. The issue isn't the players on the roster. It's the coaches developing them (and calling plays and coming up with gameplans).

That's why Florida is attractive to a coach like Lane Kiffin. He sees they have more talent than Ole Miss and he thinks if he gets 20 more blue chippers he'll win a national title.

For most head coaches it ends in termination of employment. You are hired to be fired and very few retire.

Or get fired, take massive buyout and do tv. That’s the ticket.
