The obsession with Kiffin is weird. He’s had one decent season in 20 years of coaching.

Watching whatever school bitch about him sucking in 2-3 years is going to be amazing.

Kiffin to Ole Miss was to set up this move. He was always going to look for the bigger stage.

People on here are talking about how he's poisoned his relationship with Ole Miss to the point he cannot stay there (and they're probably right). I think, however, he's already a dead man walking in Baton Rouge. LSU fans are, in the best of times, mercurial. They are always one three-and-out possession from calling for the coach's head. With the near orgasmic build up by the majority of Tiger posters and fans, there is only one way to go. And, despite their over the top fanboy antics, they all know deep down what Lane is. Add in the significant portion of the base on here already opposed to LK because of his character issues and the downfall is rather inevitable. The first time he loses a "winnable" game against a Kentucky or Arkansas, the backlash is going to be brutal.

If I were an Ole Mis fan, I’d be disgusted.

They beat the crap out of LSU and are finally looking at a relevant postseason for the first time in half a century.

Meanwhile, LSU is looking at a 6th year in a row without a playoff birth and is still in a position to totally frick Ole Miss over by taking their coach and potentially getting them dropped in the playoff bracket or left out altogether. That’s some shite.

Rivalry renewed.

Have the Mannings commented on any of this?

It's pretty evident that Ole Miss has tried everything in its power to hold on to Kiffin but there's not a single SEC program that would allow their coach to coach the playoffs if they were hired by another conference school.

I disagree. If im Ole Miss fan and glory is that close...just tell Lane we dont care if you leave, just go win us a championship while you have the horse to do so

And has Kiffin spoken out for his players in all of this? No he hasn't.

Have fun with Kiffin, Gators or Tigers. He's a piece of shite.

You just now finding this out? He's shite on every team he's ever coached. Ask Tennessee and Southern California.

Yes... Kiffin shouldn't be playing with the emotions of OM, but in the end, he likely stays put in Oxford leaving LSU and UF holding a losing scratch-off ticket from the corner gas station.

Congrats OM.

It very much so is. Some OM fans are trying in vain to convince themselves and others it’s different entirely.

Either LSU or UF is about to frick up OM’s playoff berth and y’all are crying foul.

OM is about to frick up Tulane’s playoff berth and y’all are telling us this is ok and totally in bounds.

Can’t have it both ways try as you might.

Do you still want him?

I'm not sure if that's even an option at this point.
