For shits and giggles I’m going to do a just active players lineup that would beat that one

QB- Tua- Jalen*- Mac Jones
RB- Henry, Gibbs, Jacobs, Harris
WR- Cooper, Smith, Ridley, Waddle, Jeudy
TE- Irv Smith
LT- Jonah Williams
LG- Landon Dickerson
C- Ryan Kelley
RG- Tyler Steen
RT- JC Latham

Edge- Will Anderson
DT- Daron Payne, Jarran Reed
DT- Quinnen Williams, Jon Allen
Edge- Dallas Turner

LB- Christian Harris, Mack Wilson
LB- CJ Mosley, Henry To’o’to’o

CB- Pat Surtain, Terrion Arnold
CB- Marlon Humphrey, Levi Wallace
NB- Brian Branch
S- Minkah Fitzpatrick, Jordan Battle
S- Xavier McKinney, Eddie Jackson

For reference that would be the best defense in the NFL by a wide margin

This thread gives me great joy in imagining Cam Newton running the read option with Bo Jackson.

Or Bo Jackson lead blocking through the middle with Cam following him.

And that’s not even a good list of LSU players. It left off 4 players who are in the NFL Hall of Fame. Taylor, Robinson, Title, Van Buren. And I could list about 10 more that were all pro. Come on dude, do some research if you are gonna make that claim so you rep us right. I agree with your claim, but man let’s blow them out of the water with evidence.

Upon reflection, I definitely should have had David Lefleur at TE and should had left off Pocic and had Andrew Whitworth. But other than that I feel pretty good about it. As much as I love the legend, would you really have YA Tittle over Joe or Jayden?

Almost every SEC school has an Alltime list that would be very, very good. I'm not going to belittle anyone.

That said,

and would anyone top LSU
You better be able to score a shite-ton to do so.

LSU has only a few QBs, but Burrow is legit. And if you consider Burrow + Chase + Jefferson, with a good O Line and Hilliard at RB: that team is nearly unstoppable. Consider that Jefferson is having possibly the GOAT career... and his QBs have been Kirk Cousins and Sam Darnold. Put him back in the lineup with Burrow and Chase, and I don't care who your secondary is, it's toast.

List goes on, but the point is, not even close.

If you're going to do this, at least do a good job. LSU has two NFL HoF running backs (Jim Taylor, Steve Van Buren) and a Heisman (Billy Cannon). Might want Whitworth over Collins on the oline. YA Tittle is a HoF QB, and Bert Jones is an NFL MVP QB. There are a lot more top shelf guys, do your research.

There are only 3 LSU players whose names are up in the Ring of Honor, and none of three made your list.

SMH at the fact your “all-time” LSU team didn’t include NFL Hall of Famers Jim Taylor, Steve van Buren, YA Tittle and Johnny Robinson…or others such as Billy Cannon, Jerry Stoval or Tommy Casanova.
