I think we have to beat the true bottom feeder that is Tennessee more often to break the stigma. Losing to that team is just bad.

Man has a point.

Your conference title drought is longer than Georgia’s national title drought, and you’ve never even made it to Atlanta.

Do you actually foresee making it to Atlanta in the next twenty years? It’s just not in the cards for the Wildcats, because your program is poor and can’t recruit for shite.

Losing 7 of 8 to Kentucky is unacceptable regardless of how good or bad they are

Kentucky football has operated under a failing model for a cery long time. UK just can't compete with traditional SEC/ACC powers for southern recruits.

Stoops has showed everyone the recipe for success at UK is to Go North. UK is extremely well positioned to establish a lasting talent pipeline from Ohio for kids who want to play in the SEC but stay relatively close to home.

I don't think there's any putting that cat back in the bag now that it's out there. Even if Stoops leaves, future coaches will know what UK's recruiting pitch needs to be.

It will take time for national perception to turn, but Stoops has it moving the right way. And as it changes, recruiting will only get better, and UK more competitive. I think the days of UK football being a dormat are over. They will be a solid program going forward.

You’ve beaten us 3 times in the last 36 tries. If you lose to Tennessee you are and will always be a bottom feeder. Sorry

Yet you're still doing it.

And Mizzou has lost 6 of the last 7.
And Vandy has lost 6 of the last 7.
And Tennessee has lost 2 of the last 4.

At what point does it no longer become unacceptable and become reality?

Separated? I don’t think you know what that means.

My point exactly. You say “he’s reached his ceiling” because it just isn’t possible that Kentucky could possibly continue to improve more and more as a program. You just can’t fathom that can you? Programs like Oregon and Virginia Tech were historically garbage and they flipped the script. No reason why Stoops can’t or won’t do that here.

That is true, but you finished 4th last season below Mizzou. the season before that (2019) you finished tied for 4th with Mizzou and below Tennessee. 2018 was your best year and you finished tied for 2nd with Florida still 2 games behind Georgia. In 2017 you finished tied for 4th with Mizzou behind 3rd place South Carolina. In 2016 (5 years ago) you finished tied for second at 4-4 with Tennessee and Georgia.

Stop me when I get to the part that says Kentucky has separated itself from Mizzou and Carolina.

Kentucky's SEC record going back under Stoops...
2020 4-6
2019 3-5
2018 5-3
2017 4-4
2016 4-4
2015 2-6
2014 2-6
2013 0-8

Clear improvement, but I don't know if you have really separated yourself from anyone but Vandy. You have one season above .500

you fans of the have not programs in the East
there is only 1 'have not' program in the East that not named Vandy.

Florida, Georgia, Missouri, South Carolina & Tennessee have all played in the SECCG in Atlanta.

Stoops has won exactly 6 more SEC football games than Carolina since Spurrier hung it up six games into 2015. 2 of those 6 wins have come this year. USC has had 4 different people filling the role of head coach during that time.

6 more SEC football wins over 6+ seasons is not separation.

there's not a KY fan on here that thought UK should lose 10 straight and 13 of 14 to the Gamecocks once upon a time either.

you came to the wrong forum to console your insecurities about your football program.
