Y’all took your ball and went home after that loss. A home loss to A&M absolutely broke y’all. You wouldn’t play us anymore.

And now we've been playing over a decade and A&M can't win in Baton Rouge.

Still too much. He’s at LSU at least another three years.
If the Tigers don't make the CFP this season, BK is gone. Adios Amigo.
He will not be fired, but will either retire or voluntarily resign with a Settlement.

SEC expansion. We had to make room for more important games.

LSU hasn’t won in College Station since 2016 which is…*checks notes*…almost a decade ago.

I know y’all are trying to make a point.
I’m just not sure what it is.

Wow! The best one I have seen in a long time! LSU fans are in a rude awakening after this regular football season is over.

LSU stopped playing atm for the same reason atm stopped playing Texas in 2012: conference changes impacted the schedules.

The difference is, LSU abided by the contractual terms to cancel and found an adequate replacement for atm to play in LSU’s place: the Ragin Cajuns of USL. The very same Ragin Cajuns who beat atm in Lafayette.

Details of the Game
Date: September 14, 1996
Opponent: Texas A&M Aggies (ranked No. 25 at the time)
Score: USL Ragin’ Cajuns won 29–22
Location: Cajun Field, Lafayette, Louisiana

Context:
This was a historic upset, as it marked USL’s only victory over a Top 25-ranked opponent and their only win against a team currently in the Southeastern Conference (SEC).
• The game was led by quarterback Jake Delhomme, with key contributions from players like running back Kenyon Cotton, wide receiver Brandon Stokley, and defensive back Britt Jackson, who sealed the game with an interception returned for a touchdown.
This victory was a significant moment for USL, boosting team confidence and marking their first national ranking since 1943 later in the season.

Do you really think LSU AD and LSU fans will get this done their way?

What will you do if Kelly wins a championship?

Basically your entire existence here is insisting he won't, will your life have any meaning left if that happens?

It’s so funny to me after Les Miles and Ed freaking Orgeron won titles at LSU that folks think Brian Kelly can’t.

Given that he's contractually due 90% of his remaining salary, if he is fired, why on earth would he even consider retiring (and passing up over $50m) or voluntarily resigning and settling for anything less than his guaranteed amount?

If asked to consider a settlement by LSU, would he and/or his agent not just say 'we already negotiated the 'settlement' when we signed the original contract: 90% of whatever salary is still left on the contract'?

Will it be less than $50 million by then?

November 2024. $60.8 million ; November 2025. $51.7 million ; November 2026. $42.5 million.

To calculate the per-game cost, you would need to know the number of games in the 2025 season. The regular season typically consists of 12 games, plus potential conference championship and bowl games. For a 12-game season, the cost per game would be $51,700,000 / 12 = $4,308,333.33. For a 13-game season (including a bowl game), it would be $51,700,000 / 13 = $3,976,923.08,

You may can get your number from here or possibly not if you had to ask the question.

I would assume because he doesn't want to be fired, it's an ego thing.

I also think he's already somewhat tired of dealing with NIL and the portal and I doubt he's going to deal with that another 7 years or whatever.
