15. If the grass in Kyle Field doesn't improve dramatically between now and October 11th, there is a serious risk for injuries.

If UK needed a technicality to win, they didn't deserve the win.

UF was clearly the more talented team.

I just see you guys keeping the ball out of TAMU's hands too long for them to win.

You realize Rice did that last night (43:00 to 17:00 TOP) and we won by four TDs?

We don't need the ball so much...

Watch the play again. The ball had been snapped when the clock hit zero.

I still think Driskel is a potato when it comes to decision making, but he is physically talented enough to win some games for you.

If UF wants any shot at winning next week, he needs to keep it more on the zone read.

fricking Rice? Are you serious with that shite?

Look at your losses in the Sumlin era:

LSU
LSU
Auburn
Missouri
Bama
UF

Care to tell me who led TOP in all those games?

I'm usually one to say TOP means dick, but against HUNH it is PARAMOUNT.

UF needs to run Zone read and throw it around on Bama. If they try to power run it with Jones they will lose. The bama defense WANTS you to run the ball. Their secondary is suspect.

We lose TOP in many of our wins too but I see your point. Number of plays run by us is more important than TOP IMO

True, but the teams who beat Sumlin usually run for 200+ and win TOP by 5+ minutes.

Just like the teams who beat Bama can blitz the QB and can throw it. (Auburn and LSU are the only exceptions I can think of, but they also are the only ones with the talent to match)

We learned that Brandon Allen has no touch on the deep ball. We at least two wide open TD passes completely blown by him.

If we don't have the ability to get over the top of these defenses designed to stop our run game, we are in for some real trouble. The converse is true as well: once we get that going, our O is going to Be a real booger to deal with

2012 UF: UF by 10 minutes
2012 LSU: A&M by 1 minute
2013 Alabama: Alabama by 11 minutes
2013 Auburn: Auburn by 5 minutes
2013 LSU: LSU by 20 minutes
2013 Missouri: Missouri by 3 minutes

However, A&M only led TOP ten times out of Sumlin's 23 wins

2012 La. Tech (by 5 minutes)
2012 Auburn (by 30 seconds)
2012 Mississippi State (by 5 minutes)
2012 Alabama (by 5 minutes)
2012 Missouri (by 10 seconds)
2013 SHSU (by 1 minute)
2013 SMU (by 30 seconds)
2013 Arkansas (by 3 minutes)
2013 Ole Miss (by 5 minutes)
2014 South Carolina (by 15 minutes)

Look at the margins.

A&M has played 29 games under Kevin Sumlin and led time of possession 11 times. That's 37.9% for those who suck at math.

Let's examine that. Teams who have run for 200+ and won TOP by 5+ minutes:

2012 - NONE
2013 - Rice (lost by 21), Alabama (won by 7), Mississippi State (lost by 10), LSU (won by 24), Duke (lost by 4)
2014 - Rice (lost by 28)

So, teams that run for 200+ and win TOP by 5+ minutes against A&M under Sumlin are a staggering 2-4.

Yep, they USUALLY WIN alright.

Just curious how the OP learned anything about Auburn on a bye week for them?

Agree with most if the analysis, but I'm not as high on Ole Miss, they still a mystery to me. Not sure if they are for real
