Alabama's loss to Ohio State in the inaugural playoffs.

The melt was glorious. Poor Finebaum, who had spoken out of turn before the game, was so upset that he temporarily fell out of favor with Saban.

OU put the worst arse whooping on a saban team I’ve seen. The scoop and score nearly gave him a stroke.

Sure. I mean what Clemson did in 2018 in a natty game really pales in comparison to that time Oklahoma beat bama by two scores in the nothings on the line but sooner pride bowl.

Alabama outgained Oklahoma by almost 100 yards in that game and held Oklahoma to 80 rushing yards. It was the four turnovers that ultimately doomed us to defeat. I wouldn't call it an arse whooping by any stretch of the imagination.

Well if you're one of the dozen or so Vandy fans out there, then that arse beating Alabama took last year has to be up there with winning a math competition.

Saban coached last year?

I was there for LSU 2011, 2019, and 2022, the most fun to watch was probably Ole Miss back to back (14 & 15) because that was hilarious, Auburn 2019, and Texas 2023, I thought for sure Bama would lose another or 2 more that season with Milroe and miss the playoff in what became Saban's final season, they got away with so many close games and 4th and 31 was insane.

Even though the Kick Six was more exciting, Cam Newton dragging his nuts across their faces in Tuscaloosa while they blow away a huge lead will top it all for me. Regardless dude was a helluva coach

Johnny Football got his Heisman and ALABAMA got its National Championship trophy. No harm, no foul.

And if that’s what it takes for another NC, so be it. ????????

When Bama lost they often helped beat themselves. Routinely higher in turnovers and dumb coaching mistakes by Saban.

What Texas did to Bama was a nice break from that...refreshing.

I didn't think any Alabama loss could be more satisfying to rival fans than the "Camback" Iron Bowl in 2010 until Kick Six happened 3 seasons later. As an Alabama fan, the 2010 Iron Bowl loss was by far the biggest case of the redass I've ever had leaving the stadium. I would have been giddy as an Auburn fan the way that game played out. Alabama fans...and fans of other SEC teams that had CDS (Cam Derangement Syndrome) over the "As the Plains Burn" thread and the way Cam and Auburn spotted us a 24-0 lead in the 2nd quarter only to come back and punk us 28-27 in our own stadium has to be the most satisfying Alabama loss to Auburn fans until the 2013 Iron Bowl and Kick Six happened.

If I was a rival fan the 2010 Iron Bowl would be a close second as far as most satisfying Alabama losses under Saban.with Kick Six in 2013 being the clear #1. There's a pretty big dropoff after those two games in my opinion.

What a dumbshit post from an Arkansas fan especially seeing as we NEVER beat Alabama during his tenure there.

One of the only times I can ever recall actively cheering for Bama… and they fricking lost which almost never happens. Omitting the LSU wins and the kick six, the Stephen Garcia game was pretty damn entertaining.

Well, technically, Saban was "at Alabama" (Yeah, I know, I know, as LSU Coach) in 2003 when LSU won 27-3 at Bryant-Denny.
LSU 470 Total Yds; Alabama 219
Alabama kicked a FG late in the 4th qtr to avoid a shutout.
