What other collective has released how much they have? I’ll be waiting
Auburn is the only school I’m aware of that has, and it’s just a desperation move to attract a coach.

Before the relaunch, The Grove Collective supported around 40 Ole Miss athletes. The collective's 14 board members and approximately 300 donor partners raised around $1.5 million, which works out to an average of $37,500 per athlete.Oct 6, 2022

[MS State] has on hand well into 7 figures
So in 1 month Auburn raised multiples on the entire NIL programs of OM and MS State combined... that's why what you're saying is pure cope.

Whatever helps you sleep at night. Your own collective director admitted he didn’t want to release numbers because other schools are releasing larger numbers and it puts Ole Miss at a disadvantage out of the gate.

Now, I know that ole miss number is way wrong. We have one booster he did that himself. The miss state number seems pretty vague s doesn’t it

What other schools released their numbers? LSU? Florida? Alabama?

He's going to hire Lane Kiffin then he's going to get out of the way and give Butch, Bruce, and Lane whatever they ask for. You guys are stressing too much about this whole thing.

This is just getting sad

Why are OM fans so concerned with Auburn's NIL money and how did they become such experts on the subject?

Also he lists 300 donors but grove collective membership is over 2000 members as of yesterday. I think around 2200 right now

I agree... the numbers seem super low but that's what's being reported.
Don't shoot the messenger man...
As for other schools... I've seen a $30mm number floated for TA&M.
I've seen a Bama number saying their current payroll is something like $3mm.

Between UF’s three collectives, they have reported donations of about $6.2M.
Ever heard of Google? Its not hard. On3 has an NIL collective database as well where all this information is there for you to easily find.
You can also look at the NIL deals for these athletes per university to gauge what these collectives are spending. . For Ole Miss, their highest is Judkins and he’s around $480k. For comparison, Derick Hall is almost $700k, and Suni’s deal is about $1.5M.

The Grove Collective is one of several Ole Miss collectives. That's the problem is Ole Miss is trying to solve. I think the others will eventually close and move their deals to the Grove Collective though.

Almost every single school has multiple collectives. Auburn and Bama I know have three. Georgia has at least two, maybe three. Kentucky has two. UF has 3. LSU has at least two maybe three different ones.

He’s a major a-hole. That doesn’t surprise me. It does surprise me that Auburn hired him tho lol

Did he just not fundraise at all? Lol
These new members aren’t for spite.
These people that joined up DIDNT EVEN KNOW ABOUT THE NIL PROGRAM. Word got passed around after he left…. And took a shot at MSU’s NIL program. Hell.. the reason it was small… no one friken knew about it. He never promoted it. He never raised a single issue about it.
The fans didn’t know what to do about the NIL. Nothing in ticket brochures, no tents at games, no flyers at the entrances, no tab on the athletic page, not even a friken email.
We told everyone he sucked at fundraising.

Wait what? It was "stunning" for an AD to move from Miss St to Auburn? Really?
Posted on 11/3/22 at 12:23 pm to hiremikeleach
Cohen sucked at NIL, don't worry Auburn bout experience everything he has to offer (or not offer)...

Those are On3's valuations of what a player would be worth based on social media followers and engagements, not what they're being paid.

It’s painful how full of shite you are.
From the Executive Director of Ole Miss’ NIL Collective (The Grove Collective):
quote:
Question: Will the amount the organization raises be released?
quote:
I think we'll probably stay away from total dollar figures for now.
quote:
we'll probably keep those numbers confidential in terms of dollar figures. What we will release is total members, brands, programming, resources, tools.
