What the SEC allows vs what they don't

The SEC is fine with a player applying for an extra year eligibility, being ruled INELIGIBLE by the NCAA, then having a TRO granted by an in state judge who is a former alum to just play regardless.
The SEC is fine with a coach texting a player who transferred to a new school, while he's at class at said school, to continue to recruit him. The coach asked him what his NIL deal was there and offered him more to transfer to his school.
All of that is fine.
The SEC draws the line where players that the NFL doesn't want, who JUST found a week ago that they have another year of eligibility, taking advantage of a new ruling (Wisne v. NCAA) that stated they actually could've played another year of college football. If they knew that back in March, they probably would've forgone the NFL Draft, but they didn't because there was no ruling until August 19.

None of this is a melt. We honestly don't even need them. They were nice depth pieces, but the other players mentioned here are not depth pieces.

That's not true.
They had no problem with Bediako until other people started throwing a fit, and he played G league for 3 years.
LSU was just signing guys that got cut and were jewed out of a 5th year.
