Oline might be a problem though.

Not for MS. Jackie Slater would be a candidate for best O lineman of all time, and there are plenty of all-pros to round out the rest of the line.

think there’s an argument for California, Texas, Florida, Georgia, and Louisiana. Unless I’m forgetting something, it’s between these states.

Louisiana isn’t on that tier. Cali Texas Florida you could make the argument this is where tier 1 stops. But I include Georgia too, recently due to pop growth it’s jumped up there too and probably won’t leave. Louisiana more on par with nc Penn Ohio. In the next tier.

That’s a good team, but Delpit was born in Louisiana and raised in Texas so I would count him as Texas,
Count him all you want. We'll replace him with Eric Reid. If not him, Landon Collins.

Warrick Dunn is the second best RB to come out of Louisiana behind Faulk.

We're QB heavy in Texas. Current NFL QB's, Ward, Shedeur, Hurts, Murray, Mayfield, Mahomes & Zappe were all born here. Stafford wasn't born here, but grew up in DFW and played at Highland Park.

ETA: Luck, Dalton, & Brees are also relatively recent retirees from TX as well.

Yep, I remember that now. For some reason, I was thinking someplace near Bham.

Did you really list 8 LSU DBs and not include Patrick Peterson?

These are the kind of posts people make when their team isn’t in the playoffs.
