IMHO, I think some parents, grandparents, mentors, and agents have their hands out and that's driving these accelerated numbers in the portal too.

If Momma wants more NIL $$ and ain't getting it at the kids' school, then she wants to shop around. The kid may very well end up with absolutely nothing, no fully paid college education, no paid room & board and no program that wants him. I guess it's a risk they all take.

Florida is at 28 and counting between Dismissals/Portal/Early departures for NFL.
Think that number goes somewhere close to 40. We have 32 Mullen guys left. Napier will have mostly his guys and no excuse next year.

I thought i saw that 10 left for the portal from the Faggies and 9 from Ole Piss, those were the two highest in the SEC.
