Sankey just said they are sticking with 8

We know Arkansas, Vandy, South Carolina and Auburn voted no. Who else

Florida? Napier needs a 6th win

"It appears only five schools of the SEC's 14 current members support a nine-game league slate: Florida, Georgia, LSU, Missouri and Texas A&M. A simple majority of eight schools is needed for a deciding vote in either direction."

But of course LSU fans just had to get a shot in.

They will vote again once OU and TX are in the conference and 9 games will prevail.

It has nothing to do with competition it is about that lost home game every other year that a 9 game schedule would create. When ESPN would pay them, no way they would go to 9

I miss the good old days of Link for Truth so readers don't have to wonder if a random rantard is making shite up. Making 400 people have to google something, or just post the damn link.

This is straight from CBS Sports from about 4 hours ago:

"It appears only five schools of the SEC's 14 current members support a nine-game league slate: Florida, Georgia, LSU, Missouri and Texas A&M. A simple majority of eight schools is needed for a deciding vote in either direction."

I'm pretty sure that CBS Sports was one of the sources that reported that a 9 game schedule had been decided a couple months ago.
