LSU except for a couple years. Definitely mid now

OU, like Nebraska is mid
Some of you people have zero football knowledge.
Taking just the past 20 years, Oklahoma has 161 Top 10 appearances (4th nationally). Nebraska has just 19 (37th nationally). Those aren’t close to being the same.
Oklahoma has been “down” the past two decades and they are still a Top 5 program.

Calling OU a blue blood still since they’ve moved up and into the NIL world is like bragging about how many FCS championships a team had before moving up to FBS. OU, like Nebraska is mid
Your analogy isn't real strong in terms of the fact that OU and Nebraska won all their championships against the best of the best at the time they one them...
If you are pointing out that OU doesn't quite have the resources of a few others in the current environment... that is a fair.
But in the NIL era there are only about five schools who currently have big money.... and maybe only about five more who could actually get to that place.
So I hope everybody is ready for a steady diet of Ohio State, Georgia, Texas, Michigan, and Oregon as four of the finalists.

a 4 year Ostarine induced Mega Church funded football window while playing in the weakest P4 conference has somehow elevated a school that's never been to a Final Four or won Omaha to 'elite' status -
never mind that school's football historical record against the other Southeastern Conference teams its played over the decades -
that Other Elite is also 1-2 against Shane Beamer of late as well -

That’s cute, but Clemson now has 3 national titles since 1980. Same number as Georgia, LSU, Florida, and FSU during that time… not to mention same as Ohio State during that time.
Clemson winning 2 titles and playing for 2 more between 2015-2019 moved them into Elite status, IMO

Dabo could go to usce stadium wave to the crowd and on that one hand he would have more sec and acc tradition than the entire usce programs existence

That’s a reasonable post.
My point is this new era allows teams (like Mizzou) who didn’t bend the rules to the same degree as prior era blue bloods, to now take their fair share of elite recruits.
This is what has forever changed the game for Nebraska, Tennessee, Bama, Florida State, and OU. 5 programs that could sell tradition + under the table booster $. None will fall off a cliff, but all will take a step back as the middle class all takes a step forward.
Now that all programs can pay above the table you’ll never lap the traditional middle class/upper-middle class programs.
The gap in talent has been forever shrunk. Mizzou can now take a starting DE from Georgia. We’ve always had $1.5 million booster resources to get a player like Wilson, but lacked the infrastructure/courage to successfully overcome the roadblocks to do so.
The new NIL era is good for the middle class P2.

Pure, wishful speculation from a school that has never won anything…I get the fanciful conjecture, but you’ve missed on a lot of other components that make championship/ elite programs…but keep dreaming

It should be obvious by now who is the best at winning consistently. "Mids" doesn't mean that anyone can't win. But IF they do and that sometimes happens, it doesn't propel anyone to ALABAMA heights and achievement. But we aren't talking about historically good, are we?
Most fans would just like to win a Natty in their lifetime and some outliers will do just that.

Wrong. South Carolina had a shot twice. 1984 went undefeated and next to last game shite the bed against navy. Was #2 at the time. They also had a shot at it when they played Auburn for the SEC championship but Marcus Lattimore was out because of the horrible injuries to his leg and lost that game. Not saying we are a top team very often , but you remarked we’ve never had a shot.

That’s funny, I just wasted a bunch of energy looking up Missouri’s recruiting ranking and it’s exactly what I thought….bottom of the SEC and around #20 nationally….MID…stupid idiot made me waste my time when I already knew you were full of speculating crap

Why do you LSU fans sweat Mizzou fans here so much? I would ignore them. You guys are better than that

First, the swamp rats are stupid.
Second, they are threatened and know BK isn’t the guy, but they have a massive buyout and are stuck with Grinding BK.
Third, they Mizzou getting slowly and steadily better, while lsu declining.
Lastly, mighty lsu is 2-2 all time against Mizzou. That record against a mid team (which i and most Mizzou fans admit they are) hurts their soul.
