Also I don't think Mustain was a bust just the wrong system.

System didn't matter at USC, he didnn't make starter.

Wasn't he undefeated as a starter for Arkansas?

He was the starting hander offer for Darren and Felix. The only game he had a real hand in was the Vandy game that year.

Yeah, in the eight easiest games on Arkansas' schedule that year. I don't remember where I read this, but someone pointed out that, of his eight wins, only like one or two of them saw Mallett actually impact the game enough to where one could say that HE won it. The Alabama game that went into overtime that season comes to mind.

The games that Arkansas lost that year (LSU, SECCG, USC, And that bowl against Wisconsin) were all against highly ranked teams... right? So it's not really fair to say that "Mustain won a bunch of games," suggesting that the outcome of that season would have been much different had he NOT played.

Ole Miss: Any quarterback we've ever had since Eli Manning. So many of them were highly rated recruits (Schaeffer, Snead, Lane) that it's uncanny how they didn't pan out.

And before you say "QB KILLAR!!1", so many of the people I'm referencing were under Cutcliffe and Orgeron as well. It's been a problem at Ole Miss for a while now, and certainly for longer than Nutt's tenure.

The best quarterback we've had since Eli is Masoli. B'lee dat.

Oh, and Enrique frickin' Davis. Why does that guy suck so much?

I don't think Mustain or Tejada are even close to our biggest busts. Both were victims of circumstance to a degree. Mustain may have matured into a very good QB if he would have stayed, but he didn't and get buried on a different depth chart. Tejada looked good as a freshman and then hurt his knee playing soccer...never quite the same. Looked pretty good on kick-offs last year though, our coverage team wasn't his fault...hell I think he was one of the better tacklers ;)

I think Cedric Cobbs is definitely up there, but injury was his problem. He was awesome as a freshman and then fizzled after getting hurt playing in the bowl that year. Never quite the same.

I would probably have to pick Freddie Fairchild...looked awesome as a freshman, then beat his girlfriend and ultimately was kicked off the team.

Because he chose not to play for Running Back U.

UGA: Caleb King (massive fail) and Brandon Miller (not really his fault, coaches hoved him between LB and DE too damn much).

AU: Trey Blackmon, I really thought he was going to be AU's next star, and him being from Georgia, thought he would tear UGA a new one every chance he got.

The black guy = the current starting Quarterback for the Tampa Bay Bucaneers.

UA football doesn't need saving.

But to answer the op, I'll say Albert Means.

I should add Benton to the "WR bust" list, but question is, Which year?

2007, 2008, or 2009

From watching the srping game, you can add 2011 to that list. I have zero confidence in him.
