I didn't hear Marlon's named mentioned much this Spring. What was his progression like?

Well I mean he's just not living up to the hype. Freshman year he played out of necessity and did nothing. Last year he was behind AJ, TK, and Durham but still when in he really didn't do anything. He has the physical tool just something isn't clicking. Every year the coaches say he's developed more and he's prime to break out so well see. This would be the year to show us that's for sure.

LSU: Justin Vincent after freshman year, the way Alley Broussard's career ended was pretty disappointing as well.

I still remember that game he had vs OSU in the bowl game in like 99?

it was 2001, Ryan Brewer was clutch. To this day, he is still one of my all time favorite players. Marcus Lattimore has his number too

LSU:
#1 by far Ryan Perrilloux

#2 Thought Justin Vincent was going to explode after going for over 1000 yards at 6.5 ypc and 10 tds as a freshman. Especially after going for 124 and a td in the national championship.

Anyone notice how the 09 class of WR's just don't look as great on the field as they did on paper and in HS?

Patterson, Duron Carter, Debose(Jury still out) Marlon Brown, Nuke Richardson, Michael Bowman... the list goes on.

I am not sure if Randle belongs on the same list, but right now the best WR from that Class looks to be Alshon Jeffery.

Couldn't hurt. Marlon needs to man up for sure though. Orson Charles will probably be the focal point and Tavarres King who I think is really underrated. There is a lot of youth and Brown is the incumbent but Richt has made it very clear no one's job is safe

For players still on the roster, I have Stephon Francois. I dont know what anybody else thought of him, but I was pretty sure he would be desrtoying people by last year.

Petey Smith looked like a beast in the under armor game. he hasnt done anything and when i found out his brother was eric smith, i gave up.

BJ Scott - he coulda been a contenda!

Tyler Love was supposed to be better than Barret Jones

Michael Bowman
Atlas Herrion
Rod Woodson
Chris Keys
Brooks Daniels might have been the all time leading tackler if he would have stayed sane/quasi-sane.

arkansas: Tejada, Ben Cleveland, Mustain

Any more kids from Springdale you want to say? Might as well add Crosby Tuck since he got hurt, or Gus Malzahn since he left if you want to add a coach, or add Damian Williams since he left.

Mustain was undefeated while he was at Arkansas. Was unhappy with Nutt and left.

I will admit I thought Tejada would have been a lot better then he turned out.

One of my biggest surprises was Spencer Ware. I didn't know he'd be this good.

Biggest player to be underwhelmed right now I'd say is Russell Shepard. Not because of him but because of the coaches. He is such a fast athlete and I don't think he is being used right.

Also Ryan Perrilloux, not on the field but off the field to the point of being kicked off.

And Amp Hill. I thought he was gonna be a pretty good WR for us.

As well as Justin Vincent after his freshman season. Such a disappointment.

Alley Broussard after hurting his knee.

add Damian Williams since he left.

Damian did well at USC though so he wasn't a bust.

Was recently arrested for dealing drugs and never saw a meaningful snap at USC...bust

looked great in highschool and cost us a bunch of games while he was here.
Cleveland never did anything significant during his time here and he was supposed to set the world on fire at TE.

Yea Damian is with the Titans now.

Mitch was arrested in a sting operation, but no charges were filed against him.

Pretty sure Tejada hit like a 53 yard field goal in like 9th grade at Southwest. Was near perfect at SHS.

27 Sec mark

Tho I did figure he'd do a lot more after that, but DJ beat him for the job.

I'm sure Arkansas has had a lot more busts then just Springdale kids. Seems like Springdale gets a lot of hate from the Hog fan base.

Also I don't think Mustain was a bust just the wrong system.
Wasn't he undefeated as a starter for Arkansas?
