DL Coach Options

Posted by JBREAUX4LSU on 2/28/25 at 1:21 pm
Anybody want to take a stab at a legitimate DL Coach option…not Coach O, not happening
You’re right, Tyreek Hill has had a great special teams career.
I think you could switch out the 2024 version of the Auburn come back with South Carolina. And use Ole Miss win as the 2024 version of UGA.

I think with him, LSU finds a way to slow down Marcel Reed and that game would have been close down the stretch.

Alabama would have been closer (maybe 3 scores lol) and maybe his game breaking ability moves the game the other way against UF.
I think regardless Chester will be starting somewhere. I’d expect the highly touted freshman with a full year of SEC experience under his belt to take a step forward at center or at guard.
I’m pumped about Jimcoily at Star. Him and Singleton along with K Jackson I’d love to see there. Jimcoilys a sharp dude apparently which also is a plus.

Your other question is a little tougher to figure out. Was high on Spears and Rogers coming out but minimal impact this season. That’s not the end of the world but was hoping Spears was going to go the path of Delpit and ball out a little as a freshman.
I think there’s a question of prep versus execution. They did not prep for Marcel Reed and the option read. They didn’t execute against Alabama. Two different things.
It’s not but it’s also not reason to call the state of the program a “disaster”.
Calling it: this will be the offensive version of Harold Perkins 2022 breakout. Ironically, who’s LSUs next opponent….
I agree but this same forum has been begging for them to play all season long.

re: Can LSU score on Ole Miss ?

SP+

LSU currently has the 2nd best offense and 55th best defense in the country in SP+, which is a measure of the most sustainable and predictable aspects of football.

But even in your rankings, is 22nd a poor ranking? lol

Alright troll. LSU is the #2 rated offense in the country. Pick on the defense if you want but I’m not worried about LSU moving the ball next weekend. Or any weekend for that matter.

I’ve been able to utilize my Verizon hotspot for the last couple of years without any issues.
They are getting Chevis point of view on Raymond
So in the last five years LSU has listened to the fanbase and has upgraded lights, audio, video board and added beer.

I wonder what the next excuse will be for fans leaving early….poor hot dog quality?
