2007 championship game. 82 total yards

If Devonta doesn't get hurt, Alabama would have easily put up over 60+ points though.

Both were straight up destructions of OSU, but I give the nod to Florida due to them only having 82 total yards.

Florida - that was a total arse kicking by UF.

Losing to this Bama by 28 was actually fairly impressive to be honest. No shame in losing to co-GOAT team.

I imagine the UF one since we supposedly didn't even belong on the field with them.

The Michigan fans talking about so much shite about UF and calling for re-match prior to that game were awful. That NCG was arguably my favorite.

Yeah and then Michigan fans say that beating us in the Citrus Bowl the next season was proof they deserved a rematch.

I’d say the 41-14 UF game.
With Bama they knew what they were getting but most of their fans claimed UF didn’t deserve to be there then to go out and get beat like that had them literally crying in the stands

Youtube OSU don’t cry out loud. It’s great :)

No we won’t add it. OSU outgained LSU in that game. It was no where near the beat downs that UF and Bama put on them.

LSU forced four turnovers and the offense couldn’t stay on the field. If the defense wasn’t so porous it would have been a historic arse kicking. That defense is what gave the Tigers two losses to begin with though

Did Dorsey play against Kentucky and Arkansas? Completely different team with him on the field.

LSU defensive line was totally destroyed by the last 2 games of the 07 season. This is the year the Auburn player tried to take out Glen Dorsey, who played hurt the rest of the year. Without Ricky coming back by the SEC championship game, LSU would not have won the OSU game.

OSU did not have a chance against LSU in 07, the score is not showing the speed difference on the field.

I called the final score as 41-24 long before the game, the final score was 38 - 24. It is only that close due to dl is very thin for LSU in that game.

LSU 2 other weak spots going into the game were LB and S, both players were replaced early in the game, not long after OSU was up 10-3. Sanders (LB) had been hurt many times before his Sr. season at LSU and played hurt much of 07 season, he was replaced after another injury in the game.

OSU was up 10-0, when LSU took control of the game and the clock; out scoring OSU 38-14 the last 54:12 of the game. 65 yards of OSU offense comes on the first TD of the game to put OSU up 7-0.

2006 Florida-Ohio State is the most overmatched I've ever seen one team look. I've seen FCS teams put up harder fights against better Florida teams.

Jarvis Moss and Derrick Harvey were both in the backfield every single snap. Think Harvey had 3 sacks and Moss had 2 but tOSU could do nothing, absolutely nothing against them. Troy Smith looked fat, slow, and stupid - dude didn't look like a D1 athlete, let alone a Heisman winner.

Add in that Heacock kept a 10 yard cushion against our receivers and let Leak just pitch and catch down the field - it was like they didn't watch a second of film before the game.

41-14 loss to Florida was the worst.

They thought only a Michigan rematch would be good enough for them.

They thought Florida and SEC football was a joke.

This is the game that changed the way B1G wanted to recruit on the LOS.

Florida. People have to remember it came really close to an Ohio St/Michigan rematch. Most importantly, this started the streak.

LSU and Alabama were heavily favored to beat them.

Losing the Florida game, especially as bad as they did, was shocking and they never really got over that until Urban got there.

I can not for the life of me remember the coaches names now, but he watched the Gators defensive line pregame and said he knew immediately OSU was in serious trouble. This was years later of course. Basically said the speed on the Dline yet still being big was shocking.

Probably the Florida game. Ohio State was supposed to wipe the floor with the Gators, according to the media. They were cocky.

I don’t think anyone in the media predicted Ohio State getting absolutely dominated and blown out by Bama; but Bama was the favorite in that game
