Texas Tech has I think 7 transfers(and 4 of these were all-conference in their respective conferences) in their starting lineup and their two All-American pitchers are transfers as well.
Glasco left ULL in the middle of the night and took 4-5 starters and 2 pitchers with him but he probably played by the rules, such as they are.

You will find no worse sportsmanship anywhere than in Lubbock, Texas. The last time we had to go there for football, our band bus was severely showered with rocks approaching the stadium. We had players knocked down on the field by their fans after the game. The same thing happened in basketball when our players were attacked on the court. Aggies can tell you about how badly their players and fans were treated the last time they played in Lubbock. If your car has stickers from your school, it’s almost certain to be keyed or otherwise damaged. Don’t wear your school colors, you will most certainly be abused by their fans.Don’t bother to seek help from the Texas Tech campus police, or the Lubbock police, or the sheriff’s deputies. They just look the other way. I personally hope that The University of Texas teams never play in Lubbock again.

Tech is the LSU of the Big 12. Just remove 100% of the swamp water and humidity but keep the trashiness and low academic standards. Back when we were all in the Big 12, TT was simply referred to as "tard" by the fans of the other conference schools. I would never hire a Tech grad. They are just subpar. What's sad is that the state has grown to the point that it needs Tech to step up and become serious about academics because we have too many good HS grads heading out of state. Instead, they're focused only on improving in sports (just like LSU would do).

Texas Tech has been to the softball World Series twice. Tennessee has been 10 times. So I don’t think Texas Tech is a step up. Texas Tech is trying to buy national championships in several sports.
