small quaint town. as a LA native, BR is ugly, dangerous, and weirdly snobby.

And I guess that only applies to BR and not Tuscaloosa or anywhere else.

Oxford is a quaint small town with a university. It’s a fun place to visit. Not sure if I’d want to live there. No hood rat shite to my knowledge tho so that’s a plus.

you’re not very smart, are you?

You just admitted you don't understand per capita. Even NYC has a lower violent crime rate than BR.

Ask yourself this
Is the East side of Lafayette County trying to secede from the West side and form it's own city because one is wasting all the other's tax dollars and running the schools and entire public works system into the ground ?
I'd say the Mississippi City most comparable to Baton Rouge is Jackson.
State Capital, lousy public schools, bad roads and terrible traffic, high rate of unwed teen mothers. You get the picture.

When people say “Baton Rouge is a shithole,” they’re confusing an entire city with a few rough zip codes.
Baton Rouge has many areas that are nicer than anything in Oxford.
Would move from Texas to Baton Rouge in a heartbeat.

Living in a small college town sounds awful, tbh.
Fun to visit for short periods of time, but never would dream of living there

Here. You asked a question about Oxford vs BR. A Bama fan gave you an honest answer. And you got defensive.
