That 2nd picture looks exactly like a house I remember seeing and pulling into in Galveston a few years ago, minus being boarded up/hurricane damaged.

I know what house you're talking about. Galveston would have some gorgeous architecture if mother nature were more kind to it

Chapel of Memories is one of my favorite places to go to whenever I go to Starkville. It's really nice.

There's several, but I'll go with the Bonfire Memorial

I can't post pictures (being at work) but the Bush Library should be included.

Since A&M is the only (soon to be) SEC school with a Presidential Library on campus.

Galveston really does. Me and some friends spent my birthday in Houston at a concert, and made a trip down to Galveston for a day.

Really liked the place, but it was pretty ran down from mother nature (almost 3 years ago when we went) and a ton of homes were still boarded up and not even touched.

Said I was going to go back a few years later, so maybe this summer I'll take a trip back down there and see how much it's improved. I thought it was a pretty cool place.

One of about four structures on campus that the Yankees didn't burn down. The lovely Presidents mansion..

Now that you mention it I see the OP of that picture was a Bama fan, I remember walking right by that house and taking a picture after our game last year.

3 years ago would have still been pretty bad from Hurricane Ike. George Mitchell, huge A&M and oil guy in Houston who built The Woodlands, is originally from Galveston and has put a ton of money into rebuilding it. I haven't been down there in a while but I've heard it's improved. Who knows how many historical houses have been destroyed over the years, especially in the early 1900s hurricane way back when.
