Oh god where do I begin. Syracuse in 2017 was horrendous and I refuse to acknowledge Troy even happened the next week. Easily the worst back to back games I’ve ever attended in TS. 2016 UF and 2008 Ole Miss are close seconds but for different reasons. Just about all of our home games this past year sucked too with the exception of UF which I boycotted and didn’t go because we lost by 21 to fricking Kentucky the week before. I’ll round off my list with the Ole Miss basketball game this past year as I am still in shock that their sorry arse team shot 68% in the first half.

This thread has given me PTSD of some horrible times.

2011 NCG, LSU/Bama ... just no offense, no plan at all for it, and absolutely no adjustment. 21-0

That was '88 which wasn't his final year. The next year (which was his final), Alabama spotted Ole Miss 21 pts before coming to win 62-27.

I've thought all day about this one. I'm showing my age here. It was the 1974 Georgia-Georgia Tech game. It was cold as hell and pouring rain in buckets. It was that POS Pepper Rodgers' first game as a coach against Georgia. He smack talked in the paper all week long and he talked more smack during the game, and they beat the Dogs 34-14, and it was really worse than that. Then that ahole talked even more smack after the game. I know all you Missouri folks over 65 remember that POS real good, too good, when he coached at Kansas. Was it 1966 when KU robbed Mizzu of the Big 8 championship? And y'all still hadn't forgotten about 10 years later when GT and Mizzou played in a bowl game. What was the lowdown about that particular game?

Probably Arkansas vs Mario Cristobal lead FIU. One of those odd weather days where if you wear to much you're sweating your arse off but too little and you're frozen. Team kinda flat and I was hollering at this gal I liked on text during it and she wasn't reciprocating it.

2021 Tennessee. Traveled 13 hours round trip to be at the game only to watch us get skull fricked like 45-0 in the first half.

Absolutely horrible experience.

Kentucky vs Indiana 1996. A game that set offense back decades Bill Curry's wildcats defeated the constant rain to score the games only points with a game winning field goal with :14 seconds left in regulation.

Pepper Rodgers wasn't KU's coach in 1966. He came in 1967. The year you are referring to might have been 1968. KU got a share of the Big 8 championship by beating Mizzou. Had Mizzou won they would have been co champs. However, OU beat both of them so they were the actual champs in 1968.

2017 Tennessee/LSU. Rained so hard you literally couldn’t even see the football from the stands when they kicked off to start the 2nd half. Tennessee being completely unwatchable in 2017 didn’t add to the enjoyment of that game.

1997 Auburn v Miss St. Ranked #6 in country and lost 20-0 at home. 5 red zone turnovers and it rained...Terry Bowden's mom called in to the postgame show and said Terry called early in the week and said he was worried and needed to talk to Dad.

2000 Iron Bowl. We dominated but it was freezing and it sleeted the entire gane. Secured birth to SECCG and it was like "meh lets get to the car as quick as possible" so that tells you how miserable the game was.

I was there. The game turned on a blocked field goal. Ole Miss was up 21-14, and had drove inside the Tide 20 yard line. the field goal to make it a 2 score game again turned into a block/runback to tie the game. Ole Miss was dead.

Wow. I didn’t know that about Maryland. I thought they were more basketball snobs. But they are just generally snobs. Screw them. Not in the ballpark of UT or any other SEC school.

Watched the homecoming brick game with Shawn Sykes running for 2 tds at the end to win. Next year I went to Jackson to watch the scoreboard light up like a a slot machine. Bama took a lot of anger out on us that day in 1989.

And my buddy attempted to put mustard on his hot dog from a small packet shot the mustard in this big Alabama hillbilly’s ear in the seat below us. I thought we were dead meat but he took it in stride. He was a good guy. I’ve never had a run-in with a Bama fan. Always gracious.

Johnny Football and TAMU skullfricking us at Jordan Hare 63 or something to not nearly as many points. It was one of the few games I have been able to attend back home during my 26 years in Japan. It sucked, but watching JFF at his height was very impressive.

1996 vs Kentucky. UK was the worst team I think I’ve ever seen. Think it was Curry’s last year. I have seen high schools with better offenses. Florida won like 65-0. And it was at least 140 degrees in that stadium. I have never been so hot
