The absolute worst game that I've ever attended as a fan had to be the 2010 PapaJohns.com Bowl between South Carolina and UCONN. Some of the lowlights from that game/experience:

1. Legion Field in Birmingham, Alabama. Not much else needs to be said about this dump.
2. 30/40 degree weather at kickoff. I'll always have a lasting image of the South Carolina players huddled around the heaters while UCONN players were just standing on the sideline, not bothered by the cold.
3. The stadium ran out of pizza at a bowl game sponsored by Papa John's. And this was at halftime.
4. My dad had bought be a sweatshirt before the game started that commemorated the bowl game. As the game was ending he made me give it away to a UCONN kid. I actually thought this was pretty funny at the time. My dad didn't want any memory of the game and was quoted as saying "This will be my last experience at a reject bowl game".
5. Not only did UCONN win 20-7, but South Carolina scored their only touchdown with 3:24 left in the game. It was even more embarrassing that UCONN fans cheered this momentous event after dominating us for 3-1/2 quarters.

Ironically it was 2015 Mizzou vs UCONN too lol.

Beat them 9-6.

Boring as frick and Matty Mauk looked like shite.

Edit: it was 2015.

we were at that game -- for almost two quarters.Never had left a game that early in my life. Won two tix on the radio. Beautiful day but it was so cold. Its one thing to freeze watching LSU but not UConn and South Car.

2000 Tide/Southern Miss game and it's not even close. Shut out in B'ham 21-0. Dubose offered his resignation after the game but Mal refused to accept it ... WTH? ...

I was at that game

My worst is the 2007 Houston game. I went to ULM but Houston was worse imo. It was 90 degrees and it really looked like we were going to blow a 23 point lead. We ended up winning but it was an awful game to attend.

I went to the Peach Bowl the year Maryland beat us. Their fans were the absolute worst. They made fans of SEC teams look like choir boys. I have always hated Maryland after that game.

2001 - Troy beat State 21-9 in a downpour and I believe a tornado briefly touched down in Starkvegas, maybe it was just a warning I can’t remember.

Regardless, went with my grandad. fricking AWFUL game to be at

One of my teammate 's older brother played safety for Kansas. We decided to ride out and support her. Night game, late September... started off hot but normalized out. This shite fest went to quadruple overtime, concessions closed mid 4th quarter. I was so hungry I was contemplating eating my shoe Ended up at subway near the stadium, and my sandwich artist apparently worked 2 jobs... the other was selling crack, which he did mid sandwich making.

Maryland fans are awful. I went to the PSU-Maryland game in Baltimore a few years ago and they are absolutely nasty people. Closest comparison in the SEC are Florida fans but they don't even come close

LSU/Penn State in the Capital One Bowl. About 40° and pouring rain for most of the game. Paterno was still the coach. Field was an absolute mess and LSU lost.

It was miserable

ETA: Also remember going to an LSU/MSU game and wherever I was sitting was the last section to get shade. Don’t think I’ve ever been that hot in my life.

College - 2001 Music City Bowl vs. Boston College. frick you, Musa Smith.

Pro - 2012 Panthers @ Redskins. Cold. FedEx Field is located in a shithole. FedEx Field is a shithole. Some cross-dressing QB led the Panthers to a win.

2018 LSU-Bama was pretty bad. 29-0.

2016 LSU-Florida. LSU lost 16-10. Couldn't get the go ahead score from the 1yd line on the last second play. Apparently Guice went the wrong way.

2019 LSU-Utah State. Game was a blow out, and it was so hot my gf (no pics) had to leave because she thought we would pass out. I, of course, stayed until the beginning of the 4th quarter when they stopped selling booze.
