Especially since UF leads UG 32-26-1 during that same timeframe

Is that too large of a gap for the series to be considered a rivalry?

inflated
Florida - LSU ...especially since the Hurricane game and later the TGBFTL playing over Tom Petty's death tribute at the swamp. this forum was sideways for months after each incident between the 2 fan bases. it also flares up in the off-season more than anything between any 2 other fan bases here. Florida beating LSU in Omaha in 2017 to win the CWS only added to the disdain between the 2 here.

Deflated
Alabama - Tennessee ...tide fans no longer enjoy choking out vols fans during the reaming Bama instills on UTK during TSIO anymore and haven't for years. they both just go through the motions and play their roles like a prostitute servicing a random john. when it's over they go separate ways without speaking a word.

2013 Florida State is the one team since 2009 that had more talent than Alabama across the board in a given season. That team was absolutely stacked with good NFL players.

It's amazing how badly that team had fallen apart 3-4 years later. That 2017 FSU team was a trainwreck and is still down.

Totally agree when people put us as a "must play game" in their scheduling format posts.

Because Bear Bryant turned Bama around beginning in 1959... they've been a different program ever since. But it makes more sense to start in 1960 since its the start of a new decade.

So you decide NOT to use any time where Alabama had terrible coaching and was not a good program but you WILL count the last decade when UT was a complete dumpster fire. Logic is hard for a UGA fan.

If you are going to compare streaks and numbers then compare them ALL, not just the ones who support your agenda and point.

UT was 9-1-3 from 1948 - 1960, the overall is 55-38. Before the last decade it was 45-38 which is a pretty good rivalry.

Alabama’s defense had the ability to close out the game where as our defense then was dogshit. Chris Davis the savior was not a good DB. He doesn’t fall on the last drive we win the game.
