Alabama-Miami in '77 was the first one I can remember going to.

SC/Tennessee 1992. I was 7 and had been to games before, but this is the first one I really remember. Hank Campbell stopped the Vols on a two-point conversion, and we won 22-21.

An Army/Navy game when I was 8. It was awesome, but I only mainly remember the military pageantry more than the game.

Kentucky went 2-8 against LSU in the 80s. They won 27-21 in Lexington in 1989 with Archer as coach and won 21-13 in 1983 in Baton Rouge with Jerry Stovall as the coach

I remember being completely confused at the end of the game. The score is tied. Why is the game over?

My first Bama memory is the Alabama vs LSU FG game.
1979 Bama won 3-0.
Next memory is leading up to playing Arkansas in the Sugar Bowl that year. I remember thinking that this was a joke, didn't know who Arkansas was but I knew we were supposed to play Penn State in the Sugar Bowl every year for the National Championship.
Don't actually remember anything from the game.
First Bama memory in a loss was the 1980, Bama looses to MSU 6-3 game.

1967 Alabama vs Ole Miss. Archie Manning and Scott Hunter duel. It gave people heart attacks!

First game I can clearly remember watching as a kid was 2002 Arkansas, 6 OT win. I was hooked and have never looked back since.

An Arkansas/TCU game in the early 80's. The Hogs were down by a few scores late and we left early. We could hear the stadium erupting several times in a short period of time as we made a comeback and won.

Well I know that now. I didn't know it as a little kid in 1994. I just assumed that every sporting event at the time had a winner and a loser.

You ended your post with a question. I answered.
Soccer still can end in a tie. MSU had a tie in baseball this year due to time constraints/travel.
