Gary Hollingsworth throwing a td pass or Siran Stacy scoring a td against UT in the 1989 Bama-UT game.

Ozzie Newsome catching a long pass at BDS. It was weird because we never threw the ball much and certainly not way down field. I was 6 or 7?

This. Saw plenty plays before that, but this is the first I remember still seeing as a kid.

1997 Egg Bowl. Ole Miss’ Stewart Patridge TD pass and 2-pt conversion with 25 seconds left to win it 15-14. I was actually listening on the radio, but that’s as far back as I can remember.

ETA: I thought this was SEC-only. All football would be Marino’s fake spike in 1994.

'83 Iron Bowl (maybe '84... A bit fuzzy). Shitty conditions and pure ground and pound. I recall a long run by Bama to take the lead, a failed 2 pt conversion, and Bo Jackson answering with an equally great or better run for a lead Bama wouldn't overcome.

I can recall the range of emotions that went through all stages of grief for my dad.

Love the Iron Bowl. Hate UTk. It's just the way of the world.

The last out of the 1993 CWS

Football probably Jamie Howard’s multiple INTs against Auburn in 1994

A pass from Patrick Nix to Frank Sanders in the '94 Iron Bowl. Was at a watch party with my parents and I remember it being 4th down and Sanders caught a crossing route, but was short of the sticks and my dad went into how dumb he was for running the route short.

Interesting thread.

Especially for me.

The first thing I remember about Oklahoma football was my mother being excited while talking about OU beating undefeated Nebraska in 1964.

In 1965 I went to OU vs Colorado. I was seven. I don't remember a play. I just remember that we sucked and got beat 13-0.

The first PLAY I remember was in the Orange Bowl on TV. Bama vs. Nebraska. I remember Nebraska kicking an onside kick towards the end of the game. Don't remember anything before or after that regarding that game. But I remember the onside kick.

I know that I had watched a lot of football before, but don't recall any specific plays. The oldest one that still sticks in my brain is November 28, 1991 of Marcus Buckley intercepting Texas QB Pete Gardere and taking it 19 yards for a TD.

I was there and thought the George Teague “ that’s my ball” play was better. That and most of the fans chanting Geno!

Bart Starr quarterback sneak to beat the Cowboys. Loved Green Bay / hated Cowboys. I was happy. I was at my aunts house watching the game on a black and white tv.

I was a bit too hyper as a kid to watch football on tv, so I guess the first game I remember is dad taking me to a Cowboys game against the skins. Around 91-92 before Jerrah lost his mind and decided Superbowls weren't necessary to make money hand over fist.

The Penn State linebacker intercepting the pass in the Orange Bowl against Miami in either 1986 or 1987. Was at my grandparents for the holidays and my grandpa was really old school and played during the facemask-less days. Miami was shocking to his system and he hated all of the showboating and hated Miami.
