You ladies and gentlemen are too young to remember, but Huey did much to move La, forward including:
Channeling some Standard Oil money back into our state.
Giving school lunches and free textbooks for children
Building a new state capitol bldg.
Building several critical bridges including the ones in N.O. & B.R.
Driving on Hwy. 190 you can see to this day better const. than I-10
All The King's Men was a good book, but T. Harry Williams stated that it was fictional and not based on Huey's life. On 8/26/20026, Paul cited this fiction as a true representation of the "corrupt" La. government. He then equated our current governor to Huey and "fast Eddy Edwards"

Perhaps we should all be reminded that absurdity and corruption did not begin with the previous national government and media, To paraphrase Marshall McLuhan: The political medium (and sports medium) is the message.

Great response. Did you read it?

Greg Sankey

Sankey earns more than four million per Yr. as SEC commissioner. He came from New York, lives in Birmingham. His undergrad major was in P.E. He has a masters degree in education. His greatest asset is his authoritative pose. I have never trusted him, especially as Paul Finebaum praises him highly.
Chicken,

You are a star among LSU publication agents. Thank you for this and your orher astute work.

It is indeed pearls before swine.

Et moi. Und auch Mich!
I remember WWL in NOLA, and the illegally powerful country music station in Del Rio, Texas. The transmitter was just across the border in Mexico to defeat bandwidth rules!
Guess he will have to change his name,
Education? How about severe punishment...No more eligibility for that athlete?

"Hot Seat" is an ignorant term.
Schmidt was cruising until the ump gave him bad call on a 3/2 count. It looked like he wanted to cry. Then he loads the bases with wild pitches and voila; HOME RUN.

These kids are very immature!

Always take first pitch for strike....Never throw a first pitch strike...Always swing up at the ball& pop it up.
