Earnest Graham doesn’t get injured in 2001. We were undefeated and dominate with him and 0-2 without him.

That was an all-time type of team that’s been forgotten.

set back?

Herman moved them forward from where they were when he was hired. just not far enough forward to make them happy.

I've got 2.

1. What if Saban never left LSU

2. What if Oklahoma St doesn't miss a FG against Iowa St in 2011

What if Colt didn't get hurt vs Bama - Does the Bama dynasty get delayed ? Does Mack retire in a better spot for the teams health ?

What if Gideon doesn't drop that easy arse interception ? How do we do vs Florida in the MNC ?

Texas hires Franklin instead of Strong ? Would we have missed our decade of irrelevance ?

Had we hired Bob Tyler (Vaught's pick) in 1970 instead of Billy Kinard.

If Vaught would have kicked field goals against LSU in 1959.

Either one (or both) of the dropped pick sixes in 2014 against LSU and Auburn.

Had Grier been busted one week earlier

B. Brown for KY dropped the 4th and a mile this year.

Auburn was the better team that night.
The fake punt turned it around for FSU.

What if the ball travels a few yards further or one second doesn't get put back on the clock?

What if Bo Rein not died in that plane crash in January of 1980, would he have been a great coach at LSU?

What if Hodson's pass in 1988 is incomplete?

Auburn finishes the regular season unbeaten and plays Notre Dame in New Orleans for the title instead of an overmatched West Virginia.

For State I'd throw in Cam Newton as well.

If we would have ponied up $200k to outbid Auburn, we'd have had a football program coached by Dan Mullen with QB's Cam Newton and Dak Prescott from 2010 - 2015.

And now we have nothing but an endless sea of 3-9 or 4-8 seasons on our horizon.

What if fans of other conferences were honest with themselves and acknowledged that their schools were paying players too, instead of trying to use that to justify their school's failures?

If you were to look back and pinpoint one key moment that you could change, how would doing so change the programs trajectory?

ETA: must be realistic
when Number 3 pulled up lame on a kick off against FSU and they ran it back for a TD. Id change him being injured to making the tackle

Auburn would have won 2 national championships in 4 years

Mine as well.

Also, what if Chuma does not get a season ending injury? We blow through all of them.

Nothing was stopping that team.

Another one is what if Knile Davis doesn't get hurt before the 2011 season?

obviously it's the colt injury. No Bama fans, I'm not saying I think we win had he not gotten hurt. Injuries are part of the game and you won. End of story.

but I think if the tables were turned you'd wonder the same thing.

It not only sucked because of when it happened (national championship game) but it caused mack to basically check out mentally and it was the start of the decline of the program that lasted until last season. That injury hurt us far more than just the NC game.

this. Herman actually did a good job when we played in big games. We were always ready. We didn't always win but were competitive. He would follow that up by losing to kansas. He was wildly inconsistent but yeah, compared to strong, he was an upgrade.

What if Texas joined the Pac-12 in 2011? It probably takes OU and a couple more west. The Big 12 would be dead now instead of the Pac-16.

VOLS hire Gary Patterson over Kiffin in 2008.
