Here's your answer. See FSU during their National title year. The inmates were running the asylum.

Tell me about the high moral players on urban's championship teams, who didn't recently lose their virginity.

I’m about as far from being a judgey person as they come.
Each one of us has walked a different walk and has reasons for our opinions.
That’s why God gives us free will.
I respect that.

But anyone who uses Baylor University as a template, benchmark, or otherwise, knows little to nothing about the institution.

A soft arse conference props up that record

In terms of football, it's hard to argue this.

Big 12 is typically around 3/5 in Power 5 conferences, with some strong years resulting in them maybe finishing with the 2nd best conference, but not 2019.

A truly weak season by almost all teams that allowed Baylor to run the table like they did and set Big 12 at no better than 4th best Power 5 conference.

This isn't new for Baylor basketball. For sure not women's basketball.

As slimy as Scott Drew may be, he gets results and does more with less. Once every 3-4 years they put together a pretty salty team. But Baylor as a school has been completely incapable of "winning the big one" on a national stage in any of the men's sports.

Expect them to get a 2 or 3 seed and get bounced in the sweet 16 or earlier. The Rick Barnes special

Im so tired of reading this shite. nobody has a specific story. I could link to more than 30 people over the years on this board saying that succeeding at Baylor is all the proof they need that he is dirty.

LINK

He isn't winning at Baylor by stealing big time recruits. Baylor isn't getting players that are good enough for people to try to buy. The commentators mentioned on the game last night that Baylor has put more players who were not recruiting ranked in the top 100 into the NBA than any other school.

Kim Mulkey was recommended by Leon Barmore to replace himself. The administration at LA Tech wouldn't hire her as coach even though she was a great player there and a long-time assistant

My recollection without benefit of research is that Mulkey had been officially HCIW for at least a couple of seasons when Barmore announced his retirement and did the season-long farewell tour. Then a young team made an unexpectedly deep run in the tournament and Barmore unilaterally decided to come back for another season. The story was that Mulkey was out of town and unreachable and learned of Barmore's decision over the the radio, at which point she accepted the Baylor job prior to any communication with LA Tech. It sort of seemed that she may have been deliberately unavailable for those one or two days to soften the whole bailing on her alma mater angle but Barmore went full douchebag with his public announcement. It's hard to see how the Tech administration could have handled it gracefully after he announced his return.

I'll add that I remember Mulkey as a player and there have been few men or women who competed as fiercely on the court.

Outdated stereotypical bullshyt

Undisciplined, thuggish behavior is no guarantee of on-field success

You have to be strong at certain key positions and position groups, then stay injury free, and then you gotta get some lucky breaks

It ain't rocket science, don't overthink it

Baylor isn't run by big hat wearing, egomaniacal, incompetent, Jerry Jones type jackasses who think they can buy success like the two premier programs in the state are.

They have a much lower profile and have to rely on things like competency, instead of big-hat braggadocio and false bravado.

Tech played for a natty in basketball a year ago while winning a national title in track during the same year while the premier programs with superior resources both languish in mediocrity.
