Intelligent play calling, using all offensive weapons at their disposal and LF7 is healthy once again which is something that you guys got lucky with. Defense is improving very game.

What to watch for
Which Alabama scrub defender will be put in as a head hunter to helmet to helmet to take the qb out of the game.

Who returns punts for LSU?

Bama wants the QB to stay in the game.

What is different about LSU this year? by TTsTowel Admittedly, I haven't seen a single LSU game outside of when they came to Auburn...and loss. My Saturdays are filled with Auburn football, cold beer, grilling and yelling "frick 'BAMA" to the white trash neighbors. Now that LSU has fired Les Miles and Cam Cameron, what is different about this team and what makes them able to take down Alabama?
I had no idea that the rest of the SEC this clueless about LSU football, Les Miles, Cam Cameron and the state of our program. It's clear that nobody outside of tiger fans really understood what has been happening in BR. Too sum it up quickly ( I hope) ;Miles refused to evolve the offense even after his job was spared last year and many promises on his part not fufilled this year. It is ironic to read reports that Miles is putting together his next staff and studying wide open offenses and plans to run that type of system. I don't believe it for a minute but if he had done that then he would still be at LSU.

Average lucky coach who can't even complete a sentence. LSU is forever a 3 loss team minimum with him at the helm.

So-called best coach in LSU history would have been 3 + 0 in this stretch as well. The difference is, he would have won by a combined 9 points. If you don't see any differences, you have blinders on.

LSU's defense gave up nearly 200 less yards to Ole Miss than Bama did.
LSU's defense gave up 21 points to Bama's 43 (less than half). You can claim turnovers gave Ole miss points, but same can be said for LSU.
That makes is LSU giving up 13 points to Bama's 36 (which is almost 3 times as many points given up).
TDs per game given up:
LSU 1.14
Bama 1.63
Point per game allowed:
LSU 15.0
Bama 14.9
LSU has dealt with it's best player missing 3 of 7 games. Bama has not, so that is not shocking that their offense is better.
Bama has yet to face a defense anywhere near as good as Wisconsin's.

Unfortunately, the neighbors across the street rent.

I'm more of a "see it to believe it" type guy, so I would have to turn on some tape and see what most LSU fans are talking about.
I do firmly believe Les Miles refused to change his offense, no matter what players or coaches were in place.

You don't seem to be accounting for the fact that "different" could mean worse.

No Les Miles. Which they will realize is bad thing tomorrow night.

Keep an eye on the utilization of the TE.

You scored against 2 god awful defenses and a sunbelt team
So did you. We just did it better.

Throw in the fact that bama is superior to lsu in every major statistical category on offense and defense across 8 games, while having played a significantly harder schedule
We're #1 in yards/play and #3 in yards/play given up.
You're 2 & 2.
So.. that's.. umm.. even..

Seems like a lock to beat what might be the best college football coach's best overall team
I'm not quite sure where you guys get this stuff. You've given up more points through 8 games than all but 1 other bama team (since pre-2011).
You gave up 73 points to Arkansas and Ole Miss.
For LSU to meet that lofty goal, Arkansas would have to score 52 on us.
Very good team. Definitely not the best Bama team. And definitely not unbeatable.
